It's truly frightening that this man can stand any chance of being elected to the most powerful job on the planet for a second time.  He seems to occupy a parallel universe most of the time and I do so wish he would go back there.

I actually subscribed to Britbox to get Spitting Image to see what they made of him - but how on earth do you parody somebody who is a parody in real life? I think they should have shown him being sensible - but I doubt an American market would have got the joke.

I've just replaced some broken seat springs on a couple of sofas.
The thing about millions of pounds down the back of sofas is not a myth!
I only took off part of the backing on each, but my haul was six old pound coins, one new pound ,a few 20ps some copper, a pair of nail scissors, tweezers, hearing aid batteries and a quantity of writing implements and ,of course, the odd peanut.
Naturally,I bought the springs an inch too big - as you do. But good enough is good enough.
I would like to get new but I don't fancy handing over my money only to find the company has gone bust the next day. I know that people have to spend to get the economy going but I'm not willing to gamble a few thousand at the moment.

Do they have zips on their pockets? Or maybe a change purse thing that 'careful' gentlemen use.

Yes, I have been astonished to see those male purse things being used sometimes.

When we go out, if I am wearing jeans/leggins ask Hubby to take wallet, he moans and asks why, because none of them have pockets! A couple of pairs have tiny pockets, just about get a tissue in them. That's my grump, it's OK if I am wearing a jacket, purse can go in pocket. I treated myself to a bum bag for walking dogs, just big enough for the esentials.

When I had a smaller phone, I took to poking it in my bra. Underwear with pockets might be a good thing.😉
While we're on the subject, why don't women's jackets have an inside pocket? I've only one jacket that has this. It's much safer to have a 'secret' pocket to put your phone and purse in. Much less likely to be picked than side pockets.

You may as well ask why women's clothes in general don't have pockets @B3. I'm always infuriated by trousers with no pockets, pyjamas, skirts etc etc. When I go out for a walk, I hate having to carry a bag of some sorts to put my stuff in when my OH just stuffs his into his pockets.

I have a nifty shoulder bag, bought in Florence years ago.  It's a shoulder bag with clever straps so I can sling it over my shoulder as usual or I can wear it as a backpack with no fiddling - very handy when Possum was younger and I needed ahand free for her or when I was in a market feeling fabric or ata flea market etc when you need hands free.

For walkies here I wear pedal pusher length shorts from the market in Olonne - loads of pockets!  My walking jackets also have pockets inside and out but not my smart ones, unless I've made it with pockets.   Don't like pockets in smart trousers - spoils the line when you stuff things in your pockets.  Just look at men going round with deformed bums cos they've stuffed their wallet in their back pocket and I don't approve of what keys and golf tees do to front pockets.  As for mobile phones in pockets - asking for trouble.

When did it become the law that you have to put your phone in the rear pocket of your jeans (not that I have any)?
