Given you know it's mostly guesswork @wild edges why don't you just look out of the window and then decide what to do?
Logistics. I have the kids while my wife works and it's hard to get them in and out of the house without disturbing her virtual meetings. We either go out before she starts and come back when she's done or stay at home. Covid makes me too wary of taking them anywhere indoors so if it rains heavily while we're out then we can be stuck in the car for a long time.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
You need to adopt the phrase I used for my two when they were young @wild edges. It neatly includes the other current topic here. child '...but, mum it's raining ' me 'and you're not made of sugar so you won't melt. Get your jacket on'
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Why do weather forcasters even bother to turn up for work? They predicted a band of heavy rain passing through this morning into early afternoon but it's blue sky and sunshine outside. We could have been out walking right now but we're stuck inside instead
You must have been lucky! The rainfall radar does show a band of rain passing through your area earlier today.
No room in my bra for a phone, it's full of "me"!! Never used to bother when walking the dogs, but 2 years ago this month, Hubby was coming back down The South Downs, slipped damaged his arm. I was on the sofa with a flu like virus, feeling really rough. Now, think, just in case of emergency, like this. Back pocket for phones and wallets, really bad idea. Someone bumped into my youngest daughter a while back, second person, tried to remove said phone, didn't succeed!Who wants pockets in their PJ's!!, what are you going to carry in them. Every item of clothing I possess, appears to have a "poo" bag in, am forever washing them.
Oh, yeah, and we bought a Bosch mower mid August, hardly used, 3 year warranty, a bit fell off the back yeserday, going to get my daughter to send them a picture when she arrives. We still have the old one, far better made, (a bit fell off that!) Have my hand qualcast
So do I @B3 but given it's been years since their newscasters knew that the present tense does not apply for news and events that have already happened I have little hope for the rest.

Edit: Sorry, very slow on the uptake there. You mean an empty one for the dog, don’t you? Now how can I eradicate the earlier image I had?
"Royal Ballet back on stage with social distancing
Now for some positive news: after seven months, the Royal Ballet company is back on stage at the Royal Opera House in London.
The performances, however, will be different to before - with social distancing on stage and off."
I expect better grammar from the BBC.
