    Tried Leclerc's, @Obelixx, but it wasn't brilliant.

I love waking to the sound of seagulls ... we do that here ... that spot sounds idyllic, it’d suit me just fine 😎

Weve just had ten minutes of absolutely torrential downpour ... no rain in the forecast at all ... now I’m in bed with the windows wide open ... the smell of the petrichor is amazingly strong 😊

You have to search @Busy-Lizzie.  They don't have much choice and it's often low don in ours.   Bleach would do it.

We only get seagulls after ploughing @Dovefromabove .  Even ewer at the seaside!

  • Evening all,

Happy anniversary - for those I missed and those to come! 😳

All good here, but so busy, I think half of Paris has decamped to our part of the world this weekend. 😱

Charlie has harvested some of his seedlings from lockdown , all delicious.

This is the first time I got to see my terrace garden today, it was nearly dark when I escaped from the kitchen. Looking pretty though.

Must sleep, have to do it all over again tomorrow!

Good night and good wishes to all. Xxx

Looks lovely @Dordogne_Damsel and so do Charlie's veggies. We picked carrots, runner beans and snap peas for dinner.
@chicky - no seagulls in Bournemouth - they've all decamped to Bath! Glad your daughter's new flat is okay and now sparkly clean - I must try the Cillit Bang stuff.
@Dovefromabove, shame about the ash, but if it is chalara, better down than up as I understand branches can just fall without warning. I'm keeping an eye on the big one down the road which has it - it hangs over the footpath where we walk!

I rather wish the Council would remove the enormous Norwegian Maple which overhangs our garden - bits keep falling from that.

My rose pruning is still getting back at me. I noticed this morning that I have more puncture marks on my wrist. 🙄

Thanks for kind comments Lizzie. He is still lacking in energy. I think it is the after effects of the chemo. Never mind, at least he can still help a bit.

DD, you must be so proud of Charlie. It gladdens my heart to see a young gardener coming along. Both my daughters followed me in that, but my son isn’t interested. Never mind, he is excellent with computers which I’m not. 🙄

Our weather forecast is for rain, hail and snow. So far, it’s clear and not bad outside.  I’ve just stopped for a cuppa and now ready to get back out side again.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
We have a cooler morning with a milky blue sky ... four adolescent magpies have been squabbling on the roof opposite ... they are very entertaining.
Lovely pic of Charlie’s produce @D0rdogne_Damsel ... ‘from small acorns ...’ etc 😉
My coffee ☕️ is on its way 😎

Good morning @Pat E 😊 your arm looks sore ... have you put something soothing on it?
