We had roasted pork ribs with potato, pumpkin, purple onions and gravy.  Yum!   There’s even some left over ribs to nibble on today. 😁

good morning all when it’s wake up time for you.

Hi Dove. It’s a lovely day today. Still in short sleeves. Got lots done outside.  I’m gradually winning in my neglected veg garden. I can’t get over how hard it is to dig up the oregano. It’s taken over nearly a whole bed. Very tenacious.  Especially since I don’t use lots in my cooking. Just a bit now and then.

Hi @Pat E ... it’s sunny here too ... about 10C so not really short sleeve weather tho ... and clouds are already beginning to build ...

Good morning.   Sunny here and almost 10C with a very light breeze.   Heavy dew.  Was woken in the wee small hour sby Cosmos complaining his biscuit bowl was empty and then needing active cuddles.   Lovely.

Admin for me this morning for a committee meeting this pm.

Just keep plugging away @Pat E and you'll beat the oregano.   Are your drying or freeing any?

Are you training for something @Biglad?

More coffee needed for me.  Anyone else need a cuppa?

    Morning all, afternoon Pat
Hugs to all that have been having a rough time.
Sorry I've been awol, menopause is sending me intro a hot,  emotional,  manic mess!
Had by first alcohol in a week and a half yesterday,  makes flushes worse so I've been replacing it with ice cream.
But fancied a beer.... Next thing Im manically gardening for 3 hours and it was nearly dark!
I've been raiding the rescue me shelf at my favourite nursery. Much moving,  dividing,  replacing was done....
just realised its Bank Holiday so probably didn't need to get up as early as I did! Only one gardening customer to do today and some shopping bits to get for a couple that prefer to continue shielding.
I'll leave hubby Sleeping and let him have a lie in.  Second coffee  needed he here!

I sympathise Wonky, just to cheer you up, I went through the menpause at 42, am now 69 still having hot flushes and night sweats, had blood tests and the like a few times to make sure there was nothing else going on that can cause these things.  I gave up the booze for 2 months on hearing it made the flushes worse, it didnt make a heap of difference.  I also forgot it was a bank holiday, got up ready to get shopping over with, but hey never mind, the shop I use opens at 8, then I have got (lots of) newsletters to deliver for our parish councellor.

Have you tried ginger @WonkyWomble - freshly grated root as a tisane.  Supposed to help.
