We've just had a light supper outside, rain is forecast for tomorrow. Had a look at the Norfolk cottage on the iPad, looks as though it's raining quite heavily.

I have raspberries @Allotment Boy, but they are last year's in the freezer. I like strawberries with Champagne (usually fizzy plonk or Prosecco when we are splashing out), like in Pretty Woman.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Good luck to them @Allotment Boy - it's a lot of effort. I know only too well. I hope they get to a point where they can enjoy it.  :)
I love the bit in that film where Tom Hanks laughs hysterically after the bath falls through the floor. Gets me every time  :D

I was sitting here thinking 'I don't remember that bit with Tom Hanks in Pretty Woman' Doh!
Hi everyone,  Busy day here with the boys lots of laughs and cuddles.  It's rained for most of the day so we didn't go out but did lots of duplo building and colouring in.
Mum is back in the home and they say she's OK, but I'll still worry until I can see her properly.
Settling down for a quiet night in front of the TV.
    Enjoy your evening everyone.

Keep up @Yviestevie! Mind you - that would have been a very different film.... :D
    Glad your mum is ok.

Just been sitting outside and listening to an owl, probably a tawny, what a lovely sound. Some rain promised for tomorrow, we shall see!

I hope everything works out for your son and DIL @floralies.    Not a good situation even in normal times but so much the more frustrating for you.

Not easy for you either @Yviestevie.

I have hips!  And knees and toes!!  Two nights of walkies plus lots of furniture moving in between and things are feeling stiff and creaky.   Had a good time with my patch friends this pm but a total bust at the GC afterwards.   The only bulbs they have in stock are dahlias and glads that should have been sold and planted in spring.  No little lavender plants either.  Will have to wait a bit then.

Got home to two excited doggies needing walkies and Minstrel cat who wanted to come too so there I was walking along with two dogs on leads in one hand and the other holding a purring cat on my shoulder, much to the amusement of a motorist who was kind enough to slow down as he passed, grinning.

Absolutely tipping down here in Norfolk ... haven’t heard rain this heavy in a while.

On parade early here as I woke up feeling cold just before dawn.   Clearly a duvet cover on its own is no longer enough so I've put the patchwork quilt back on now.

We've had a dribble of rain overnight but none expected today.   No matter as I'm on indoors stuff today apart from a raid on the SM.

Hope everyone's had a good night and is set for a good weekend.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
We have what the weather app calls ‘haze’ ... 😐 and thundery rain on its way ... ⛈ ... however Tomas Schafernaker has just said we’re not to write summer off just yet .... 🏖 😎

But today I think I’ll have to amuse myself indoors ... there’s a ragu to make for a lasagne tomorrow.
