    Sounds like a great afternoon @Obelixx 😀

Result @Allotment Boy - hope the money turns up soon.

weather for the week ahead looks dire again ......hope we get a bit more summer back again soon😎.  Think I need to get a stack of indoor jobs lined up 🙄.

@Pat E that's appalling!  Surely the police can do something?  The vehicle must be damaged enough to make it unroadworthy so that would be a start.

    Fingers crossed @Allotment Boy.

No shortage of jobs here @chicky - as I said to OH on Saturday evening I never expected 37 years ago that we'd still be DIYing and decorating but then we've bought 3 houses together now and all needed work from modernising plumbing and heating to a total overhaul with everything or this one which needs "finishing".

Obelixx, Hubby knows which vehicle it is - a knocked about old Land Cruiser with big bull bars, aerials, etc.  The police wouldn’t be bothered about roos and wombats killed on our roads. 😡

My neighbour complained to me about a noisy vehicle giving her a fright the other night when she had gone to bed early with a migraine and being woken by a loud vehicle diving into their driveway to turn around with lots of revving etc.  The next day we found more dead Roos on the road. 🤬🤬.Stupid young males with nothing better to do.

They'd find something different but also stupid, thoughtless, cruel to do in town @Pat E.   Maybe name and shame them on social media?  Is there no kangaroo/wildlife preservation organisation that could help?

I don't think I'm generous enough to offer such individuals the excuse of youth. We were all young once (admittedly so long ago that I struggle to remember), but I can't recall the urge to drive around looking for living creatures to kill. It indicates some serious character flaws in my opinion.

I really believe that people found guilty of animal cruelty should have their children put on the 'At Risk' register automatically.

Certainly when I attended Child Protection Conferences to place a child on the register, there were several occasions when it transpired that one of the adults in that child's life had been abusive to animals.
