Back from a lovely day at Dads.  We filled the garden with good food and lots of laughter.  It brought back so many happy memories  of when Mum was still with us.  Dads not good at hosting, so for the last decade gatherings have always been at one of ours, but now he can’t leave the house, we had to gather at his.  So glad we did.  Even if he did spend the day in his conservatory whilst we were outside, it was a very happy day, and he was grinning from ear to ear.

Tried on my wedding dress, which had just been unearthed from a cupboard.  Sadly it seems to have shrunk 😱😉.  But had forgotten how lovely it was.  Would pick it again today👰🏼👰🏼👰🏼

    Good morning all  :) ☕️
That sounds like a very special day @chicky 😊

We have a damp day here in Norfolk, and apparently we can look forward to a windy afternoon. I think that checking on watering needs for seedlings and containers etc, and the harvesting of courgettes, will be the extent of my outdoor activities today.

When I was teaching ballet, and we had a concert coming up, and I was making small tutus, one of the mothers gave her wedding dress to cut up to make the bodices. Recycling was not a buzzword then.

You have more planned than I can. Deluging.
Norfolk.... I love looking at UK rentals online and the Norfolk ones are different. More individual.

Ha @islandanchoress 👍 There’s an old Norfolk saying which had been formally adopted as the motto of the University is East Anglia ... it’s “Do Different” 🙂

Hello everyone.   Our rain is really getting going here. Amazing after so long without any. Hubby saw on the weather report that it is really closing in and we’ll get snow. Might have an early night. 😴

    Morning all.

Heavy rain here - it was tapping on the bedroom window to wake me up!

Have a good Monday everyone and keep safe and cosy Pat.
My garden and I live in South Wales.

LOVE it! And yes  it shows in the housing. Much more individual. While I have no intention of leaving Ireland ( the paperwork alone would kill me!)  I love looking at rentals . a site called rightmove. More there seem to accept pets too.
