@chicky I hope Mr chicky has had a good birthday today.

I haven't been here today as it's been quite busy with emails and phone calls. A family from Paris have made an offer on my French house and since my children (4 of them) all have shares in it because first OH died and French law says they have to share the inheritance, it meant I had to contact them all before accepting the offer.

It's rained most of the day.

    Morning @Hostafan1
and everyone else as you arrive smile ☕️ ☕️ ☕️ 🦆

Pretty much the same here ... wet wet wet ...

OH is doing a long day 8.30 - 6ish ... I got up early to do his soup and tea flasks ... he normally does them himself but as it’s wet and slippy outside he wanted to do the bins and other outside stuff to save me from sliding around and injuring myself and otherwise causing havoc in his life. 😒

The builders doing the extension at the house on the corner have turned up but I don’t know if they’ll be able to get on as they’re still at the groundwork stage.

The weather report says it’s stopped raining, but if that’s not rain then I’m a fish 🐠

Where’s @Fairygirl and her magic wand? 🧚‍♀️ We need something done about this weather 🌧 🦆

Morning all. That is good news@Busy-Lizzie, It's been a long time coming!
Off to SM this morning for weekly shop, gloves, mask and hand gel at the ready. It's usually rammed in July and August, I wonder if it will be less so this year. Have a good day all.

Morning all/afties Pat. Not great news round your way   :/
Sorry - we decided we'd had enough rain here so we sent it 'darn sarf'.
It's dry here for now, so I might get the hedge cut. No chance yesterday - too wet.
That's great news for you @Busy-Lizzie. Fingers crossed for you all - always nerve wracking  :)
Belated greetings to Mr chicky. Hope he had a grand day @chicky. Did he have 21 candles on the cake?
Not sure what I'll do today, apart from trying to decide on the clematis I want. I'm hopeless- I see too many, and there just isn't room unless I remove everything else.
    Hmmm....there's a plan... :D
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Morning all.
Thank you for the crossed fingers.

    Raining here too.
We are going to meet my sister and her OH today for lunch near Saffron Walden. Bit of a job finding somewhere that was open and not booked up. We were going to explore but not sure how it will work out because of the rain.

    Morning all
rain has stopped here! I've had my first lay in bed in ages. 8am I woke  :)
Second coffee in the garden taking pictures of everything after a good soak. I watered the garden yesterday as I didn't believe we would get much. I was wrong but I think the garden looks better for it!
    Day off today
I'm going to be taking lots of cuttings.
Thank you Dove for your lovely gift to stepwomble. She's so gorgeous they will look amazing on her and I know she will treasure them! Xx
I actually love pearls but just don't feel comfortable in necklaces. Pearl earrings every time if its not opals. I'm with you there Obelixx! All rings get stuck on my hands due to swollen knuckles but I love them anyway so gloves are a must!!
Hope every one has a good day  :)
