Saw the last half @Dovefromabove and loved it.

Gorgeous sunny day here with a cooling breeze so once I've had my second coffee I'll be off out to play.   One of my Royal Bumbles has developed purple flower buds so has been potted up rather than planted out while I see what it does.  That means another trip to he nursery for a red one as I wanted a group of 3 to fill a big space.

Have a good trip home @Busy-Lizzie.   Good luck with house sale and house hunting and "courage" for all the sorting you'll have to get done pdq.  It'll be lovely to see the family and friends too.

    Hiya @Hostafan1

Not bad, although the weather is driving us both mad, this is not summer.
    How is Garry?

Hopefully summer is coming back this week 😎😎😎

Dad was on good form yesterday 👍🏻.  Then we went for a walk on Lepe beach - lots of childhood memories 👧🏼

Today we are going to finish coaxing our box balls into pyramids - an easier shape to maintain with a hedge trimmer - trying to pick up all the little bits as we go.  Fiddly job, even armed with dust sheets 🙄.  No builders today, but our half built steps are looking very promising 🧱🧱🧱

Morning all, Not too bad here today sunny intervals with the odd dark cloud blocking out the sun.  I've been out cutting back and deadheading.  The foxgloves have gone over now, the roses are budding up for a second flush and the dahlias are starting to flower.
Clems are doing really well this year. Sat and watched loads of wasps hoovering up blackfly on a vibernum they are doing a really good job.  Off to the opticians in half an hour or so but nothing else planned for today.
    Safe journey @Busy-Lizzie

    I have antibodies!!
I suppose I will be classed as ‘asymptomatic’. The only other explanation could be that when I had a sore throat/coldy episode at New Year. Time may tell.

Awaiting the clearing of the clouds here. I could fancy an afternoon in the deckchair.

Have a good day all - catch up later.

Hello all. Muggy overcast day here at the moment, some dead heading done this morning, the soil is too hard to do much else. First lot of beans blanched and put in the freezer, tomatoes seem to be taking an age to begin to ripen.
Son and DIL are with her parents this W/E in their family "bubble" down at Port Solent. I think it will do them both good as they are very down at the moment, my son has anxiety and depression after his Covid and they are both very down as she has to have another op for breast cancer. Son is having ongoing counselling set up by the NHS and his work insurance but we have to find some for his wife also struggling.
Enjoy the rest of your day- weather is improving for you all I think from tomorrow!

Truly dreadful situation for them and for you @floralies.
There is so much heart ache in the world at the moment, it is hard to see when we will all recover.

    @floralies ((huge hugs))
has anyone put her in touch with Macmillan? They can refer themselves but it might help speed things up in these pressured times if a consultant or GP makes a referral too.

I’ve no personal experience of any of the private set ups ... just Macmillan who have helped family members and friends.
