I'd like one of those solar fountains @AuntyRach - do you know where she got it from
    please?

    Lovely trip to Renishaw gardens.
Weather was beautiful and they are very well organised. You need to book a time slot online, then they suggest you should be out again in 2.5 hours, although they have no way of checking. They are trying to limit it, to 100 people at any one time.
Seemed to work very well and people wee very well behaved, trying to move out of each others way.
How can you lie there and think of England

Hi folks,  What a gorgeous day.  Perfect temperature and a gentle breeze.  I've spent most of the day just sitting in the garden  and pondering about any changes I might like to make.  Friend popped round for a cuppa and a chat. I've put a couple of loads of washing on but apart from that I've been very lazy.  Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

I enjoyed my visit to Son 2, his lovely French wife and their four children, but it was a bit strange without the cuddles and kisses.

I had to wash my car before I went. I must have driven on wet muddy roads back in February and it was covered in old pollen, the garage is an open fronted barn, and bats hang above the car and cover it with their mess, birds too. Could hardly see out of the windscreen or bat and bird poo.

So pleased you enjoyed your garden visit @punkdoc ....it feels good to get out, doesn’t it 😀😀😀.  My visit was also a success - see Garden Visits thread for pics.  Have so enjoyed my NGS visits so far - all very well behaved.  And at least some money will be going into the charity’s coffers.  Will check their site tomorrow morning for this weeks offering.

Both Chicklets went out with friends today.  The house seemed very quiet.  Makes me realise just how much I have loved having them round for the last four months.  Silver linings and all that ☁️☁️☁️🌈

Rain coat dragged out of the wardrobe and I wandered out to check the rain gauge.
