Clouding up nicely here. Maybe a thunderstorm. I slept through the spectacular one last year😒
    In London. Keen but lazy.

A good thunderstorm would be great, we've got just enough drizzle to render the grass unmowable, but do no real good to the garden.
    Devon.

This is my kind of heat wave. Turns up, has a look around then decides it can't be bothered and starts raining instead.
Heatwave?? what heatwave. I think we hit 23C which is barely " quite warm" .

I'll swap our 34C (in the shade) for your 23. Even that would be on the hot side for me.

I'd swap in a heartbeat. Winter is long enough without having to endure crappy weather in "summer"

Forecast says 92% chance of rain in the next hour so I'm hopeful.
34C is crappy weather - just crappy in a different way.

Crappy for me but each to their own. It's been breezy too, like being in front of a giant hairdryer. At least it'll be better tomorrow. And there's apparently a 70% chance of rain this evening, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Still cooking here. I can't take off anything else and stay decent.
