Did you order Chinese garlic? I've heard there's nano spy chips embedded in the cloves. They delay your delivery so that by the time your food is delivered, you're so grateful that you just bung them in the cupboard without checking. If there's no dried roots apparent, they're Chinese and should be disposed of in black bin. If roots are apparent, they're Spanish and probably Ok.
An hour on the phone to customer services only to find out the delivery isn't coming. "Technical difficulties". Â The earliest they can deliver it is Saturday evening so it looks like I'll be braving the shops tomorrow. At least I can buy things that my wife doesn't add to the order though
