I do recall somebody on the Gardeners' World Magazine Facebook group, saying that rats are cute and she wants to feed them.  She didn't get much support for that idea, to put it mildly.

Tree rats have slightly better manners than ground rats.
Speaking of pests I've had a massive outbreak of fungus gnats in one of my house plants. I've never seen so many flies come out of one pot before and I've no idea where they came from. The sticky trap is full and I've had to resort to using the hoover vacuum cleaner to get rid of them all. I'll vacuum up 40 or 50 one day and there'll be the same there the next morning. I just hope they don't spread to all the other plants now :|
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I've just heard that " regular testing will now start in care homes". Glad to see Bojo and his mates are on the ball.
