Many times I've been behind lorries doing that on the A1 where there are only two lanes so a huge amount of traffic builds up behind them. Knowing how it's going to turn out I usually stay in the left hand lane - don't want to miss my turnoff!

Nope. The nearest I get is Wiltshire (head office of my work) and I'll not be going even that far anytime soon (meetings all being done online). I've occasionally pondered adding on a few days in Devon/Cornwall but it hasn't happened yet. Maybe next year. I'm sure it's lovely and there are loads of gardens down there that I'd like to visit. I promise I won't bring a caravan though!

Caravans on the single track Highland roads. They can see you want to pass, but will they pull into the passing places, will they hell.
How can you lie there and think of England

Harrumph ... oven seems to have blown a fuse (hopefully that's all it is)... can't get at the relevant area ... have had to leave a message on Menditman's phone and chuck the bread dough that was ready to go in the oven  :'(

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

I'm so curmudgeonly about my freezer not being fixed, I've just emailed the CEO of British Gas about the poor/ non existent service from Home Care.
