We've got a big "American style" fridge freezer in the kitchen and a tall , chest high , upright freezer in the garage and they're both rammed.
"Nature abhors a vacuum" as they say. We're not very good at "eating the freezer"as @Obelixx puts it, but very good at buying yellow labels from Waitrose.
I only have a small whirly... It's also smaller since it sank and stuck solid in the bucket of concrete it was in, and I had to saw it off... We're quite good at eating the freezer. I don't like stuff building up
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Hi folks, @Fairygirl feeling much better this week, thanks. Enjoyed my outing to the garden centre. Bought a nice varigated hebe. It was such a shame, they had so many bedding/container plants that were past their sell by date that were obviously left because of the lockdown. We had a really heavy rain shower while we were out but managed to get into the greenhouses before we got wet. Had a good natter whilst drinking our tea and eating chocolate on the car park.
We've had hail, wind, rain - heavy and light, and the odd glimse of sun in between.
We went to Morrisons for our shopping instead of "Click and Collect", (fed up with ordering online from Morrisons, so much out of stock) usually followed by a quick nip round Tesco for everything that was out of stock. Tesco was so organised, well signposted, one way system. Morrisons had no signs or distance marking or one way system, except for the check out where the marking with floor arrows was hidden in the children's clothes aisle. So everyone going to the check out as normal was told to go back the way they came to find the queue. Not many were keeping their distances, almost impossible to avoid being close to people. All very disorganised.
Then we went to a small family run GC for a weed sprayer and some spearmint and a pot to put it in. Very well organised, arrows, distancing, hand gel etc and they had everything I wanted and some Busy Lizzies for a shady bed.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I forgot when I was out the other day that I took my camera. There's a lovely purple beech tree just near one of the farms

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
