Massive hugs to you both @punkdoc. Stay strong, stay positive.

I've just had a long "triage" chat with the dentist. When they re-open, (hopefully next week ) those of us who've been in contact will get priority. Seems reasonable to me

Feel for you @punkdoc must be very scary.  Hope your “visit” goes well and everything crossed for Weds.

Time to put tomatoes in their final pots today. All are looking very healthy- maybe I should leave sowing til May every year 🤣

Chin up @punkdoc.  Time to delve deep for some positivity!   Hospitals are not restful places at the best of times so I hope your op goes ahead soon and is successful so you can get out of there.   Hugs to you and Moira.

@chicky I planted out the last of my baby toms in the PT yesterday, all home sown and late thanks to my usual tomato plant fair being cancelled way back in March.   I have a new seep hose in there so watering is now direct too their roots.  They seem to like it and the first batch are already producing trusses of fruit.

This morning I planted out the last of the pumpkins and watered and fed the others too.  No seep hose for them unfortunately.

This pm a lorry arrived with our rust!  It had a lovely toy - remote control crane and hoist for lifting and swinging and depositing.   Two big bags of concrete too and we had about 30 seconds warning to cover them - thunder, lightning and downpour just as the lorry drove out of the gates.   Yikes.

Good timing otherwise as it will now be easier to move plants that risk being trampled when we put in the uprights for the rusty trellis along the ruin.   Lots of fun to come.

Good luck with the dentist @Hostafan1 I need one too but it'll be a whle yet before I get to see one.

Hi everyone, I've been in the garden for most of the day, mowing lawns and weeding also potted up a couple of tomato plants that we've grown from seed.
Hope everything goes OK @punkdoc both with the visit and the op.
Sorry to hear about the dental probs @Hostafan1

Hi all, managed to stay on the ground despite the wind. Well it was worth moaning about the lack of rain as we got some at last but no where near enough. We are re-vamping the green wall at the moment in between allotment visits to water & pick crops- Strawberries anyone? we have a glut.

All the best to @punkdoc & @Hostafan1 pain can be very wearing.

Evening all, ( reminds me of Dixon of Dock Green I think).

Busy day, a trailer load taken to the tip, we're only allowed one drop a week but he didn't scan my card so I can squeeze in another tomorrow. 😁
Spent most of the day washing glasses, plates and cups - dust just got everywhere. Final big things ordered for terrace, pergola roof covers, Solar lighting and wire fencing in (gosh that's expensive). Also organised a pre opening soirée for the staff and suppliers, such a great team need an appreciative gesture. Lots of bookings coming in for our opening day, all positive.
Came 'home' after work and had a little wander around the garden. I'll miss this place when I have to leave. 😥

Customers @Hostafan1, they do complicate matters. Dentist - I so need to go....good luck.

@punkdoc you will be fine! Have faith. 😘
@Busy-Lizzie hugs, enjoy your garden there, the French garden will be fine. After a bit of hacking back it'll be as beautiful as ever.
Need to go to bed now, another long day tomorrow. I do think once we open life will be simpler, I'm not keen on this project management of role, baking cakes is so much easier.

    Evening.
I was pleased as punch to take a little tub of my homegrown strawberries to work today. No glut, but enough for a little bowl a day at the moment. I will make more plants from the runners again this year.

I hope you were well enough to have your visit Punkdoc. Keep positive now - we are all routing for you.

Hope everyone is ok. Have a good evening/sleep.

Thanks @D0rdogne_Damsel, I hope so. Good luck with your opening preparations.

We went to the tip too, with the huge cardboard box that OH's mobility scooter came in and two big garden bags of garden prunings. I'd left them with the garden bin for the recycling lorry but they didn't take them. Then we went to B&Q and bought a paver to sit the water butt on.

I painted the 2nd coat on the longest wall of the GCs bedroom this afternoon and have started an end wall but I need to move stuff. Need the 1st wall to dry.

Morning all. It’s a quiet still, cold morning today. Not as cold as earlier in last week. Luckily the lounge room is comfy, so slowly getting moving here.

I might do some more tidying in my badly neglected veg garden later. It makes me feel very happy to be out there. I’ve missed pottering around this last year and a half while we came to terms with Hubby’s Prostate cancer situation.  We’ve developed a relaxed attitude to arranging our days and we are both happy with it.

Best wishes to Punkdoc. You’ll be in my mind on Wednesday your time.
