I used to go to a place called Birling Gap at sundown to watch the sunset and on one occasion a microlight flew over  and the moon was out...the shot still makes me smile..I think I must have been lying down as the grass isn't that long on the Downs!

...the lighthouse, Belle Tout, is on top of the cliffs near Beachy Head. I was hoping to get a shot of the moon directly behind the tower...no joy.

    Morning all. Raining at last.

I know that area quite well @steveTu, OH's daughter lives in Eastbourne and he had the flat above hers for a bit.

We are off to the SM, need supplies. Fed up with "Click and Collect" too much missed out.

    Fabulous pics folks 😊
Have a good walk and picnic @chicky ... sounds like picnics are the new ‘eating out’ 😂 a place not far from here is delivering luxury picnics £60 for two. Just what we need for a blustery day on Cromer beach ... not!  Scotch eggs and a salad bap will do us. 😋
That reminds me ... I turned our Lincolnshire sausages into burgers yesterday and made some brioche buns
Duh! 🙄 the pics have gone to the top of the post again. You’ll have to refer back 😆

Morning @Hostafan1 ... we have proper rain ... the grass might turn green again.

We’re pondering on buying another freezer for the garage ... we only have a fridge freezer in there at the moment. But we’d have to make room for it ... what shall we get rid of?  Lawnmower anyone? ... not been used since mid March ... 🌞

Morning folks,  Those buns look delish @Dovefromabove
I'm off with Bestie to visit a garden centre that has no cafe.  We rarely go there in more 'normal' times.  Can't think why
It's been raining on and off for about 3 days now but it's finally brightening up so it will be good to get out.  Going in two cars and taking flasks and goodies, hopefully we can find a long bench for a long chat.

Hope your outings go well @chicky and @Yviestevie.  Mine might be postponed.  We have rain.  Not forecast and coming in brief squalls.  Not a problem but heavy cloud too and, camm me fussy, but I want sunlight and sparkle on the sea for my first outing in 3 months!

Go for it @Dovefromabove.  Mind you, we have 2 now and I could use a 3rd especially when we have excess fruit and veg to freeze in a month or two.   Must work harder at "eating the freezer".
