Just had a little cry, each year Firstborn sings a song and adds photos of the childen to it for father's day.  She's posted it on facebook so I know she wont mind if I share it with you.

I don't think I can access that, @Yviestevie.  Lovely idea though.   :)  Thanks to you and to @chicky for encouraging noises re house progress; and now, today, we have TV, after 8 months here without it.  I think I might have got out of the habit of watching rubbish... better not start again...    ;)
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

I can’t see it either, probably only available to her Facebook friends.

I’ve painted the larder door, white gloss, two coats, also the breakfast room door to the garden and the frame around the square arch to the dining room.

Suspect that might be the problem @Busy-Lizzie I'm not really tech savvy so when it worked in my laptop I thought that it was OK.

    Good morning all,

I've managed to read back, so I'm up to date but hardly time to post. I've got 15 tables being delivered today and all the staff coming in to clean and set the place up ready for opening on Friday. I'd been hoping that all builders would be off site by now but unfortunately not. I'm banning them all out of the house, only allowed in to use the loo via back stairs. There's sawdust everywhere. Very nearly done, just painting and trimming now, carpenter promised no more mess.....we'll see. I am very pleased with the results, just desperate to get back to 'normal'.
Hoping to powerwash the garage wall today where the ivy had taken hold and then plant up what was the compost heap. Stealing lots of plants from ex's garden, he doesn't need them, he probably won't even notice. 😅

Good luck with all the under gardeners training, try to be gentle with them, especially Moira @punkdoc, poor woman. 🙄🙂

Thank you Dove. Our daughter came down from Canberra and brought a nice coconut cake. Her dog had a good time running all over the place. Cold clear day, so very nice .

Glad you’re able to celebrate @Pat E 🍹  ... I’m afraid I’ll have to pass on the cake ... I just don’t do desiccated coconut ☹️ ... I’m going to make an onion quiche this morning ... we can add that to the party spread 👍
