Moira has just changed my dressings, they wanted me to go back to the hospital, but we decided this would be much safer. Next week she is going to take my stitches out, which might be more uncomfortable.
She has been taking instruction in the garden much better today, I shall have to reward her.  :)
Send her love from us all. Bless'er.

Moira deserves a whole set of medals!   And a treat @punkdoc .  I trust you are feeling better each day.

I have been playing with my new toy and making sparks.   It's an angle grinder I bought for cutting 6 metre long rusty columns in two to make supports for rusty grid/trellis panels.   Loads of fun.   4 holes dug, 4 posts planted and set in concrete.  Leaving it to go off overnight before I attach the panels which will support climbing roses and trellis I've planted against the ruin.

More fun on Wednesday tackling the posts to mark out the chicken run.   The under gardener is playing golf tomorrow, Thursday and Sunday but that leaves me time to play with other stuff while he's not looking.

Just waiting for the rabbit with mustard and tarragon to finish cooking and might just have a glass of wine with it to celebrate successful christening of new toy.

Happy Birthday Pat, sorry I missed the party - been painting for what seems like weeks! Blooming tables didn't turn up today so chasing the transporter now - seriously!

Lovely view from the terrace, I do hope all the reservations will enjoy it on Friday, and really, really hope they have a table to sit at!
    Goodnight all.
