I had missed the story of the last few years of Hamish MacInnes's life, quite remarkable.  He is indeed legendary. It would have been a highlight to meet him in the Clachaig Inn but sadly he wasn't there when I last staggered into that place after doing the Aonoch Eagach ridge many years ago. Well he might have been but we were so knackered when we got there I would never have known. Like many other idiots we took too long and ended up descending straight down in the dark using the lights of the pub as our guiding light.
I still have a tape of the Michael Palin traverse somewhere though as well as the Munro Show series where they make the same mistake. You really don't want to see sunset from up there no matter how lovely.

Hi Forkers. No news here except that there is no change in the weather, 😡.  I’d like my sunny corner to sit in instead of lounging inside.  Oh well, there’s nother

    Morning all.
Very foggy out when I started watering at 4.50.
    Why can't I sleep?

    Morning all/afties Pat. Whinge away - it's fine  ;)
I'll have a look later @Hostafan1. I would have been but a wee bairn when that was filmed  ;)
I believe your fug is to clear. I think there may have been some here, but there's condensation on the windows. Sunny now, so I can get those phormiums sorted out later.
I haven't done the Aonach E. @steephill, and unlikely now, especially when I walk by myself. Not something you want to come down from in the dark!
Wonder if @Dovefromabove's neck let her sleep.
Taking daughter to work and having a walk from there. I'm not going down the farm lane any more, after yesterday. Too many idiots, not to mention the ones in the NT garden when I came back that way. I officially give up.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Good morning all  😊 ☕️
    I slept like a log thank you @Fairygirl   😊
just aware of a few niggles when I ‘moved wrong’ but nothing to really wake me ... HURRAH 🤸‍♀️

Did I mention that OH planted the runner beans out for me yesterday?  It’s a week earlier than I would normally do it and have been advising folk on here not to do it until June but it looks as if OH may be back at work next week, so in the spirit of Lockdown ie “Do as I say, not as I do” we went ahead and did it.
I may plant the morning glories in their big pot later this morning ...

    Morning all.
The sky is blue and the wind has dropped.
I must finish watering the garden when the washing machine has finished.

    Glad Dove's neck is better.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Morning all.
It is very sunny here - so just having some time in it before work.
We spotted a scruffy fox in the garden at 5:45 this morning (OH was feeding cats and noticed). I wonder where it lives?

    Have a good day all.
My garden and I live in South Wales.
