    Morning all.
Still windy here, the trees are swaying.

Glad you are feeling better, Dove.

Must look up jerk chicken, not something you see in Dordogne.
I think it will be a housework day today, though we did hoover everywhere yesterday between us. I'm at the stage of needing glasses to see the dust  :(
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Morning all  :)

I'm not even going to begin to explain the dilemmas of my day yesterday, all I can say is nobody died and nobody cried, well not much anyway. Ever onwards and it'll be all fine in the end.  :#

Glad you're feeling a bit better @Dovefromabove, bad news re table @Yviestevie , I feel your pain....not in the foot though. :/ How frustrating @Nanny Beach , reminds me there are plus points of being single. :)
Wind @Hostafan1 and @Fairygirl - hang on to your hats.  :o
@Busy-Lizzie If you can't see the dust without your glasses I would be inclined not to bother put them on rather than do H*******k  ;)

Must go now, stuff to do....just hope it's a more productive day than yesterday.

Good day to you all.  :)

Good morning to you all.  @Dovefromabove I hope the exercises will help long term.  I get neck problems too and I try and remember to do exercises as a prevention:  Yes; 10 times No; X 10  Ear to shoulder; and head rolls.X10  Sometimes I will be reversing the car and my neck will go - bang!  @chicky- would love the recipe for jerk chicken please.  @Fairygirl I hope you have a restful day - shelve that hoover!

I was awake at 5.15am with all good intention to weed spray but there was a faint breeze so I waited until 7.30 when it was quieter.  Feel good with myself for doing that.  Sorry ants!  Having a coffee with cheese on crackers and home-made tomato relish!  Have a good day, everyone.

I'm considering just going out even though it's quite wet, and obviously pretty 'brisk'.
At least I may not need my new T shirt  ;)
The NW has had gale force winds, so hopefully there's no real damage there. Flood warning for north of the central belt though. Par for the course for May!  :D
I do need to hoover, but I'm struggling to find the motivation. Doesn't take long- small house @tuikowhai34 ...
Just to let everyone know- I've heard from Obelixx again, and she's hoping to be up and running soon.  :)

Morning everyone. It’s been a miserable cold day, weather wise here today. I’ve hardly been outside.   Never mind, lots of interesting things to amuse us with computers etc.

Look after yourselves. Dove, I hope your neck is a bit better.

@tuikowhai34 I understand the yes and no X 10 and the ear to shoulder,  but what are the head rolls? I have had problems with my neck since having  a neck dissection operation a couple of years ago.

    That’s a relief @Fairygirl ... been missing @Obelixx 👍

Glad everyone survived the trauma @D0rdogne_Damsel, whatever it was ((hugs))

Bread is having its first prove ... kitchen is relatively tidy. Supper will be a sort of tapas sofa picnic ... I made the tortilla yesterday, we have cold meats and salady things, and some lovely lettuce in the garden ... OH brought some new potatoes home from a shopping expedition yesterday so I’ll make a potato salad as well ... think that should prevent the onset of starvation. 😉

The wind has got up again so I’ll not potter into the garden ... don’t want a drought on my neck ... I might do a bit of sewing ...

@Dovefromabove - the t'interweb is so slow for her that she can't really post. Even an email is a bit snail pace.
I take it you meant 'draught' not drought. Or was that a Freudian slip?  :D
I forgot to say re @D0rdogne_Damsel's trauma earlier. Hope it isn't too serious?  :o
Forgot I have to take fairylet senior to work. I'll faff around with 'stuff' and then see if the weather is vaguely more  clement.
    Not holding my breath.... ;)

    Morning all.
Back from the shopping/dropping off run. It looked a bit busier in the SM car park today. Just home before a really heavy downpour, which included some hail.

    Have a good day all.

@Fairygirl @Pat E and @Dovefromabove I am sorry to hear about your weather.  @Pauline 7  Headrolls must be done gently as I hear lots of clicking when I do mine.  1.  Chin on chest. 2.   SLOWLY roll head/ear/chin to the left shoulder  (look left) then slowly roll head back (don't force) (look up and back).   Then head/ear/chin on right shoulder (look right) to straighten up looking down and chin on chest.  5X5  starting with left side and X5 to the right.  A small group of us used to have "soft" gym at a physiotherapist's and these were the warm-up exercises.  Shrugging shoulders X10 is a goodie to add too as well as rolling shoulders backwards then forwards X10  or X5 because whatever you do to loosen up that area is beneficial.   With that, I wish I could say I did them every morning, but I don't - until my neck cricks again!!  I wish you well!
