Sorry to hear your Mum is unwell @punkdoc, but glad you’re all in agreement ((hugs)). Thinking of you and Moira and all your family.

    Afternoon all, Hugs @punkdoc
I've been gardening all morning spliting and replanting carex, clearing some more overgrown plants from the pond, chelsea chopping and deadheading.
It's too hot now so I've retreated inside to cool down.
Hairdressing scissors came today and the clippers arrived last week so now I'm going to cut Hubby's hair later today.  Used to clip the Westies so it can't be all that different, can it? :D

@Fairygirl - must have missed it.. It wasn't about my toms, they're going great guns.  It was a query about someone's post.  But anyway, I did do it properly i.e. the sending of the message.  That was my question if you'd got it or not.  No worries, bro' !!

Toms, squashes and courgettes all potted on, and Ive supervised some succulent division and repotting, as well as the breaking up and repotting of a huge aloe vera which OH has at last agreed wasn’t happy in the sunny spot in the studio. It’s now in two pots ... to indicate how big the plant was, half of it is now in a pot that once held a 3’ Christmas tree!

I think supper may be eaten on the terrace in the company of a bottle of chilled rosĂ©. 😉

I'm sorry about your Mum, @punkdoc, must be such a worry. There are several reports of people over 100 who have survived.

We had a good chat with our friends this morning, had to talk more loudly than usual because our older ears find 2m a bit far apart!

Not done much since, watched the Chelsea rehash show, had phone chat with daughter 2 in France.

I hope you enjoy the company of your bottle, @Dovefromabove, we are having meatballs so we'll be having red.

I'm in need of a very large glass of something! I started the job this afternoon of putting new silicone on the gap between the bath and the tiles, horrible job and the silicone remover gel I bought doesn't seem to be working - what a surprise! Put a second lot on now and just waiting to see if that works.  The joys of DIY. OH has funnily enough disappeared.

Evening all - grumpy delivery driver won - no way he would go around the back and drop the wood over the back fence into the garden. Admittedly it was always going to be tricky, but he was convinced his truck would get stuck in the grass. So, 66 square metres of wood was dropped on the pavement outside the Tearoom. Luckily I found 3 friends to help carry it down - took a good two hours, so a bit of sparkly to celebrate was imbibed. No problem with social distancing, 32 of the beams were 6 metres long, the rest 3.9. Getting around corners was interesting. 😆 The work starts Monday. Had to take delivery today, it's a BH here tomorrow and the wood mill is taking Friday off too, it's usual practice if the BH falls on a Thursday. They don't deliver on Saturday or Sunday and my builders arrive Monday. I didn't want them sitting around all day waiting for the delivery. Anyway, it's all at the bottom of the garden ready and waiting.

I even managed to get a trip to the tip in - we're only allowed in on the odd/even number that tallies with the car registration and just one a week. They too shut for the BH, the 'pont' that follows and the weekend. đŸ˜± So I was relieved to get one trip in anyway.
@punkdoc sorry to hear your news, perhaps it'll be a mild case and all will be well. Fingers crossed.

Must get back to inputting data into this new menu system - terribly tedious.....might just have a quick walk around the veggie patch.

Btw, Charlie has a summer job gardening for a friend. 10€ a day, absolutely loving it. Cut grass, hedges and strimmed today and stacked logs in the garage. Next week he's making a wildlife pond, they're waiting for the liner to arrive. He been researching how to maintain a good lawn. 😁 Fabulous opportunity and he's alone in the garden, goes on his bike, couldn't be better.

    Bonne soirĂ©e, Ă  demain j'espĂšre 😉 @tuikowhai34

    Good evening all. 😁
