    I love pearl barley @Pat E
and lovely meaty bones to gnaw 😋

@Hostafan1 Im going to give the Shady Bank a bit of a feed ... I meant to do it earlier when I fed the Clems and Roses, but somehow it didn’t happen. 🙄

I'm trying to get big saucers ( 40cm ) for my agapanthus. Can't believe how hard it is to find some at sensible prices

Not a cloud to be seen here 👍🏻.  Just been to check on my array of pots in the greenhouse - much larger after all of yesterday’s potting on.  All look like they’ve survived the disruption - yay 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.

Going to tackle another weedy bed this morning before it gets too warm.  Might use my 3 year old leafmould to top dress it when I’m done.

Hadn’t thought of using slow release on my agapanthus @Hostafan1.  Mine are currently getting a weekly dose of tomorite - but I only have about 10 so watering it on is a manageable task.

paeony buck eye belle is tantalisingly close to flowering .....maybe today’s Sunshine might coax her out......

    Hi all

Just had the news I have been expecting for some time, although that doesn't make it any easier, mum has suspected COVID.
Stay well, this is not over, by a long way.

Oh @punkdoc ((hugs)) I am so sorry ... best wishes to you all at what is a horrendous time ...

Every day I think how much easier my life is than some folks’ at the moment because I am an orphan. ☹️

    Morning all.

Oh no @Punkdoc - sorry to hear about this big worry for your family. Keep safe yourself.

I have one peony, it was nestled behind an overgrown quince bush when we moved in so didn’t notice it at first. I am reluctant to move it as the ground there is solid with tree roots, so am afraid of damaging it, and yet the peony comes up each year. The buds were tight when I looked on Saturday, I will peep again today. I will probably pick mine as soon as it it’s ready to burst, as I have missed it Flower so many times before what with work, a trip away or heavy rain.
My garden and I live in South Wales.
