It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Don’t have a heat pad thingummy @punkdoc but hot showers are good ... my nubile young man has been rubbing in the Deep Heat ... but it’s a bit tender 😕
The shoulder itself isn’t so bad now ... it’s the area between my neck/spine and the shoulder blade that is tender and sometimes the pain goes down my arm. It’s definitely postural cos it’s hugely better if I stay off the laptop and mobile.

Gin helps all known illnesses, nearly had to have some at 7.00am, walking round the garden this morning.
Apparently it got down to -7C not far from here last night, so I suppose we were lucky.

@Dovefromabove, you have my sympathy, sounds very much the same as I had last year. I did find Voltarol gel better than Deep Heat and also used one of those wheat bags you heat in the microwave, the long sausage types can be wrapped round your neck and they stay in place whilst you are on the laptop. If you haven't got one of those, try a hotwater bottle. Do hope it gets better soon, the pain can be agonising.

Thanks @Lizzie27 ... problem is Voltarol hel has diclofenac and I can’t use that because of my blood pressure ... I can use the unmedicated patches but not many places sell them.

I could get OH to root around in the back of the wardrobe for a hot water bottle ....

Hi @Dovefromabove I got an unmedicated heat pad from Boots I wore it for about 12 hours and it made a massive difference I still have a bit of pain but it's nowhere near as bad as it was and I have the full range of movement back.

Our local Boots sometimes has those @Yviestevie ... thanks 😊. I’ll ask OH to have a look. Don’t want to send him into the city if we can help it.

I have had this problem before ... when I was working and they changed all our office desks around ... I had to have an OT come and do a work station assessment for me.

Morning all. We only got down to minus 4.7c this morning, so can’t compete with your area Punkdoc. At least it’s sunny and not windy, all good here. I’ll be hanging washing our soon.

    Morning all.
Another lovely, cloud free sky. Mercifully not much wind.
My aim today is to pressure wash the terrace before the agapanthus come round for the summer.
Hugs to @Dovefromabove and to anyone else who feels the need of a hug.
