Morning @AuntyRach ouch! Hope it’s easier soon.  ... it is a beautiful morning isn’t it. I might just take my third coffee down to my new seat in the garden ... ☕️

Hubby decided to tidy up some low branches in one of the tree belts that I planted about 30 years ago. A low branch had to go.

That’ll make good firewood in a while @Pat E.  Glad reports of @punkdoc ‘s demise were greatly exaggerated 😉.

Frost here this morning - got some of the new leaves of the pieris, even under its fleecy blanket.  But all the seedlings look to have survived.  More forecast tonight, and tomorrow......not out of the woods here til Friday ❄️❄️❄️

Today’s plan is to empty out the shed/shelter we use to store old pots etc in and try and impose some sort of order.  I can’t find anything 🙄.  We have some benches from the old greenhouse that I want to move in there, which might help with future organisation.  No rain forecast, so might be more than a one day job.

    Morning all.  Hi Pat!

Glad to hear you're still with us, Punkdoc.   :)  A couple of years ago my sister had to contact the university we both went to, having been surprised to read in their newsletter that I had died the previous year.  They were very apologetic...

Last Christmas we were given a big jar of Polish raspberry honey.  We've just started it.  It's lovely... but doesn't taste of raspberries.  However, when I sniffed it, the smell was very reminiscent of the scent of raspberry canes on a warm, damp day...

I turned the compost heap yesterday.  It was a good day for it - mainly sunny, but a very chilly east wind.  Today the sky is blue and the wind has dropped; very cold overnight, but the fleece in the growhouse did its job.  I feel a walk coming on.  :)

I'm missing @Obelixx - hope she gets her internet sorted soon!

Morning all/afties Pat. Some nice wood there for you
I type too fast as well. I also walk too fast. Don't these folk out walking just now go so r*ddy slowly?  :D
The men were out clearing the fly tipping at  the N.Trust garden  when I went past at half 7. I had a short chat with them. The look on their faces said it all really. It was even worse than I had realised - right down the side of the house.  >:)
Wonder if @Obelixx has got her t'interweb bit yet?
I'm slightly concerned about that person @punkdoc, especially when we're currently supposed to be relying on common sense. I personally think that ship sailed a very long time ago.... :/
@chicky - don't you need a nice bench in that new greenhouse? ;)
Not quite down to frost temp last night, but some for tonight after some rain. It's still quite breezy though, so I'll get the washing out before Popmaster.... ;)

    Hi all

frost last night, but everything in the g/h looks ok.
Moira did check the life insurance last night, should I be worried?

You only need to be worried if she suddenly increased the premiums.... :D

New greenhouse came with shiny new benches colour co-ordinated with the frame Don’t ya know @Fairygirl 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼. However, the old ones are very sturdy stainless steel jobbies that Mr C rescued from the skip at work (they were either part of the kitchens or an old lab - can’t remember which, but they are ace).  They weigh a ton though, so help will be required to manhandle them into place.

    Missing @Obelixx too 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻

Quick coffee break, sorting out the basement, not in the least bit inspiring and the tip is closed too so I can't even properly finish the job, hence the trawling of the t'interweb - saw this and it made me smile - thought I would share:
