I didn’t even get that and I’m usually ok with that era šŸ™„Ā

    Must try harder @Dovefromabove.... ;)
Poor old 'wee dickie' as I call him. Got to a good age though. I thought they'd have more tributes than they've had on the radio. I expect that will come though. They've had quite a few tributes to the Stranglers' keyboard player and Mr Kraftwerk though.
Better go and do summat more productive now. Sow more basil I think

Yes ... OH was genuinely sad about Florian Schneider ... I remember even the NME in the Sixties had a slightly disapproving air when mentioning Little Richard ... a sort of ā€˜Beware the slippery slope’ 😱

    Forced inside, by a hailstorm!
I will stick my neck out [ nothing unusual there, then ] and say, that without Little Richard, there would have been no Rock and Roll.
How can you lie there and think of England

just back from the wood mill. Very helpful, very positive and kept a good social distance.Ā  :) However, keeping me in suspense regards a quote until tomorrow, you would think that knowing which wood and how many metres (a lotĀ  :o) they could do the maths there and then.Ā  :/

Charlie has gone to his friends house for the afternoon - 1st time he has seen "a real person" since the 15th of March - not quite sure what that makes me and his father... :o
His friends live in 20 acres of woodland with a lake in the middle, they live a very isolated life at the best of times and they haven't been anywhere either - this is the first day out of official confinement and to my mind the safest day for him to see his friends. I am not sure how I'll feel by next week, I am going to continue being 'distant' for a while longer yet, see how everyone else fares.Ā Ā  :/

We've lost another lettuce too - I think something is eating it from underneath - very wilted and when I touched it it came away with no roots attached...not quite sure what to do about that - hard to see underground as it were.Ā  :'(

Off to do a bit of weeding in-between showers.Ā

I am very impressed with all your PopMaster scores, I often can picture the artist or hum the tune, but no way remember the title.Ā  Ā  ;)

    Catch up later.Ā

Thanks for letting us know AuntyRach. We don’t get Gardeners World over here any more. It must be 2 or 3 years since I’ve seen an episode. Ā I really liked seeing him in the show.
