    Good morning all 😊 ☕️ @Pat E  😂 👍

Another good night of sleep unbroken by the need for painkillers ... 😁 just a few twinges this morning ... by the time OH’s furlough finishes I might just about be able to look after myself 😂

Hope everyone else has had a good night too ...  ‘fresh’ is how OH described the temperature when he popped out in his dressing gown to put the brown bin out while the kettle boiled. Now he’s out there readjusting the protection he rigged up for the figs ... he’s very anxious that the fruit aren’t affected by this cold spell ...they’re plumping up nicely.

    Morning all,  :)

Very quick pop in just to read back and say hello.

Lots on at the minute, racing against forecast rain to get plants moved and make a frame to be able to cover the brassicas with some special protective material I have managed to find. And the builder is back on site at CdeG tomorrow so I need to do some re-arranging whilst he's not there to make putting it all back together again easier and easier for him to move around.

Also off to the wood mill to order decking. I can't wait for planning permission for the raised deck so am going to put some kind of 'staging' on the 'lawn'. It will be so important to have more table space when we open to allow for the social distance requirements so although not what I wanted or even like practical reality has to kick in.

Have a good day all, will try and pop in later.  :)

Glad Dove, very windy here, bitter pegging out wet washing, hope it will dry before it desides to rain

Hi Hosta. We’ve got the wood heater going. It helps. We tried sitting outside for a while this afternoon, but a stray cloud floated in front of the sun and that was it, inside for both of us. 😏

Did anyone else hear George Alagiah’s sensitive and incredibly moving piece on the Today prog just now .... Listen Again if you missed it ... you won’t regret it. ❤️

Glad you’re finally on the mend @Dovefromabove ......gets you down day after day 🙁.

We escaped the frost here too, but tonight is forecast colder.  Just rescued everything from its fleecy blankets, and all looks happy enough.  Spotted an amazing yellow crab spider on my pyjamble - fascinating 💛

Today is mostly ho#£&%rk 🙄. Although may also find time to top dress my repotted acers and do some more stitching 🧵.

Did I see your hospital on news at ten last night @AuntyRach?

    Morning all/afties Pat  :)
A 'David Jason' here, as I like to call it. I'll let you work it out
More fly tipping when I was out so I've been reporting that. Words fail me with these cretins. Right at the lodge/gatehouse of the NT garden along the road.  >:)
Sounds like a plan @D0rdogne_Damsel - it'll give you some scope when you can get open again.
Glad you had a better night @Dovefromabove .
    How's the greenhouse @chicky ?
Sunny but still the wee chilly breeze. Nice temp for me though, 4 or so when I left the house to walk, but it won't be too hot thankfully today, Pretty much the norm for this time of year here. I got a good view of the hills, as there was no clag  -Ben Lui is looking splendid, as she always does. A large charm of goldies along the lane and all the sparrows were noisy as  usual. Lovely wee things - all of them.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Greenhouse is fab @Fairygirl 😀😀😀. Lots of seedlings coming up and doing well despite the late start 🌱. Think they’ll be all caught up by June 👍🏻
