It does seem strange doesn't it @AuntyRach, I have trouble remembering which day of the week it is sometimes, they are all blurring into one another. I hurriedly watered a climbing rose I had forgotten about yesterday and tied it in, then hung the washing out. A lazy afternoon in the sunshine beckons - again!
@Yviestevie, that is such good news, your mum must be a real trouper. Fingers crossed she continues well.
You should have seen "my day" before I retired, I worked full time nights 12 hour shifts with a commute over just over 50 miles each way.I am 69, do 5 days a week HIIT (Jo Wicks as a warm up then Harley Pasterrnak weights.Ā My oldest daughter 49 says I make her look unfit, haha.I have been accused of being wonderwoman. They used to call me Mrs Goodlife at work.Ā Normaly I aslo have my 2 youngest grandkids in the school holidays.
OH has weeded, cut grass, edged beds and made the garden look gorgeous. Iāve baked bread, tried to weed the chard seedlings and dozed on the sun lounger when my neck has hurt. Itās very frustrating but I am so lucky in my choice of OH as my Undergardener š„° Now Zebedee says itās time for bed ... night night folks ... sleep tight š š“Ā

Itās Motherās Day here. The sun is shining but thereās a very cool breeze making outside sitting rather tricky, planted some potato shoots that appeared in my potato bin under the sink. Might get some spuds after winter. š
Good morning all š āļøĀ Have a lovely Motherās Day @Pat E šĀ ive Just had the best nightās sleep for a fortnight and although thereās a little achy soreness in my neck/back/shoulder, thereās nothing like the pain there was and Iāve not had a painkiller since 10pm.
