    Good morning all 😊 ā˜•ļøĀ
not a bad night ... a bit ouchy but I got some quite long periods of sleep. I’ve been awake about half an hour listening to a wonderful dawn chorus ... now the sky is light and the birds are going about their business ...Ā

VE Day ... Ma was a Landgirl ... she got on a train from deepest Bedfordshire and went to London where she sling to the railings outside Buckingham Palace and chanted ā€˜We want the King’ untll she was hoarse ... them caught the last train back arriving just in time to do the morning milking.Ā

Good morning Dove. Hope your shoulder is a bit easier. I’ve been wrestling with the rotary hoist today because it’s been very windy and I needed to get a couple of loads of washing out on the line. My back is aching now though.Ā

Strange weather. Sunny between scudding clouds and warm in the sun then gusts of very cold wind. 🤬

hello to everyone as you wake.

Hello there @Pat E 😃  I managed to get back to sleep for a couple of hours.
You be careful with your back 😯 don’t want you crook as well as me šŸ™„Ā

OH has promised me he’ll give me a day in the garden today ... I will sit and read a book, drink coffee and point 🄰

Sound sounds like a good idea, Dove. I’ve decided to leave the washing on the line overnight instead of fighting it again. If it did rain(which is unlikely) it wouldn’t matter if the clothes got another rinse. šŸ™„ Ā I know, lazy person, but my back is only now settling down.Ā

    That’s not lazy @Pat E ... that’s sound common sense šŸ‘ 😊

Your well-being is more important than whether the washing gets another rinse or not šŸ’¦Ā

    Put your feet up šŸ›‹Ā

    Oooh how yummy @Pat E Ā šŸ½Ā
OH tried to get a piece of lamb shoulder for thus Sunday but came back with a chicken ... again. That’ll be chicken two weekends running and I do like to ring the changes ... I think I might spatchcock this one and do it with some tandoori spices... not a traditional Sunday roast but it’ll make a change.Ā
Tonight we’re planning a prawn stir fry with mixed veg and noodles.Ā

Oh, I could make short work of that Dove. I think the smell of cooking is making me hungry. The little boneless shoulder roast only weighs 400 g. (Coles are doing that lately, so it’s good for just two of us).Ā
