That's very good news Wonky, I'm so pleased for you.
It did remind me of the time my OH lost one of his contact lenses in a hotel - with patterned carpets. I crawled on my hands and knees all over the bedroom floor, along the landing and down the stairs, all in full gaze of the other bemused guests. Finally found it under the bedroom sink. Big relief all round, he didn't have spares, hadn't got his glasses and had driven up in a classic car I couldn't drive!

When we got back home I insisted he went and got coloured lenses to make them easier to find.

We have to take our victory where we can get them Lirio   :) I haven't stopped smiling since I found it!! :D
Lizzie, that must have been a nightmare!!! I was out with a torch last night in purple dressing gown and flipflops looking under perennials... found lots of snails and one of the hedgehogs so hopefully the snails won't last long!  ;)
Goodnight all, it's been a long day!

Very pleased that’s sorted Wonky. Now I can forget about it.😁 it was hanging around in my mind.

It’s a coolish day today and I’ve done absolutely nothing. Now I feel guilty. Our Ukelele teacher sent a couple of new sheets of music, so I had a bit of a plunk, but gave up fairly quickly, as my finger tips were as soft as I thought they would be. 🙄  I might have to have a little play each day to harden them up again.

We are planning a trip to town tomorrow as the second day without power is going to be upon us again.  Might have a takeaway coffee and sandwich from our favourite place.

    Good morning all  :) ☕️
I had a much better night thank goodness, the sun is shining and the sky is blue. I have my second coffee and OH is getting ready to race around the block on his bike for his morning exercise.

Later on OH will pick up my prescription from the Boots in W’rose and pick up some of the essentials of life that we can’t get from the farm shop ... eg chorizo, marinated anchovies, sundried tomatoes, balsamic, shampoo, shower gel and Sauv blanc.

It’ll be good if they’ve got plain white flour as well, although we’ve got a delivery of 32kgs of bread flour coming at the end of the week so we won’t starve. 😉
