    Morning all.
Wet and windy out to day. More like October than May. grr
I spent yesterday clearling brambles so apart from a million scracthes my hand aches from secateur action all day long.
Hugs to all who need one , especially @punkdoc .

Covid isnt giving me weird dreams, I always had them, thankfully stopped now, but before we moved here I had night terrors, sleep paralysis ,when really tired after a couple of night shifts, horrible!!

We really enjoyed that Dove. No lettuce left in the fridge now and the mayo might need a top up. PurpleRose it’s a new way for us to eat them, so a good discovery.  I can’t think when I last bought fish fingers (probably when the kids were still at home), but we watched Greg Wallace doing a factory tour about fish fingers recently, so I bought a pkt of 40 from Aldi recently.  They might last a while though.

Morning all/afties Pat. The mossies must be unusual for your time of year - or not?
Sorry you had a bad day @punkdoc - pick three good things that happened though, and focus on those. It's vital.
Already been out, back, showered, and washing on. The frost has largely gone, but everything was lovely and sparkly, and it was warm even at half seven [4 or 5 degrees in the sun]. I can hear @Hostafan1 crying from here.  :D
There's a woman who drives every morning to the NT garden along the road from me, to walk her dog, when there's a park less than ten minutes drive. Go figure....
She parks right on the corner of a narrow road too. Stupid cow. I'll let you guess what type of car she drives....
Have you tried propping yourself up so that you're not lying on that side @Dovefromabove? I did that for ages after my luge episode. It helped a bit, even with the ribs on that side being battered, because I wasn't rolling onto the shoulder.
A little greenfinch was out too. Haven't seen any for ages. They used to be very common. I saw a sparrow the other day - carrying a huge piece of stem/grass back to his nest. It was like a piece of bunting. Made me smile. The wee blue tits have been back at the string too - near the kitchen window this time   :)

    Poor @WonkyWomble
shes so sad... she sat in the garden yesterday evening stroking the cats and having a coffee and admiring the stone in her engagement ring glinting in the evening sun ... she’d just got it back from being resized cos of her swollen finger joints ... then she walked back indoors and realised that the stone was missing. She’s in bits 😢

Yes @Fairygirl ... pillows all wedged so I don’t roll onto my side ... don’t know why last night was so bad. When all this madness is over I’ll find a physio/chiropractor. 🙄

Oh no @Dovefromabove. Poor Wonks. Has she any idea where she might have lost it? Stupid question really, but sometimes, it can help to try and remember last sighting, and check.
My sister insisted on taking my Mum's engagement ring when we cleared out our parents' house a decade ago. She promptly lost it and has never seen it since. I struggle very hard to forgive her for that.  :/

Poor @WonkyWomble - what a horrible thing to happen.  If she knows where she last saw it, maybe there is a chance to find it in the light 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

    @Dovefromabove - sounds painful 😖

Lots of things to do today - some outside, some inside, some fun, some not so fun.  Will mix them up to make it bearable 🤪

It has to be between the picnic table and the kitchen ... but .... they’ve been out there searching with torches and again this morning. Such a shame.

Sympathies Wonky. Maybe waving a strong torch around the area might give a little flash of light.
