    Can’t let @Pat E ‘s big day go by without a virtual celebration 🎉.  I’ll bring the bunting 😀

Been thinking of Pdoc a lot and hoping he is on the mend 🤞🏻

Been out and potted on some more tomato plants - these are even later than my late ones (bought some seed at Hampton Court last year and then forgot it 😳).  They are yellow cherry ones - like Sungold I expect.  We tasted them there, and they were 😋.  They seem to be catching the others up.  Considering that in March we didn’t think we would have a greenhouse at all this summer, I am doing a valiant job at packing it to the gunnels 😀.

Time to get clean- too hot for any more gardening til early tomorrow morning 🥵

Just heard them saying that Clint Eastwood is 90 today. Yikes! Stevie Nicks was 72 earlier this week. I feel very, very old  :D
No watching any rocket if it's to do with that odious man. That's all I'm saying on the subject.
Have you got any spare compost you can chuck my way @chicky?

Potted up the last of the toms yesterday - self sown seedlings from the greenhouse floor which should be last year's Sungold. And one sideshoot cutting from this year's sowing of Roma. I was only going to have 6 plants this year and already have 12. Must stop saving foundlings. :'(

@D0rdogne_Damsel I think you are right to let Charlie sleep in your bed if he wants to.  He just loves being with his Mum that's all.  All too soon, they are hormonal and speak (if lucky) in one syllable words - usually one or two and want to be "in their own space".  Enjoy this luxury while it lasts.  You go girl!!

:D   Yes, @Fairygirl  But it soon passes - give or take 4/5 years.  Patience and support for our French Damsel in Dordogne!

Oh indeed - I understand exactly what @D0rdogne_Damsel has gone through. I have the T shirts myself  :)
Mine have come through it all - fairly unscathed...

They all mature at a different rate ... my son was shaving every day before he was 14 ... proper bristle, not fluff ... but he’s not had much on his head since he passed 25 😉

Most mum’s gauge these things right ... and once a lad starts maturing the last thing he wants to do is cuddle his mum ... I find  that phase lasts until they leave home - ish.

Some dads are worried that their son may be ‘turned’ if they’re too close to their mum ... I’ve a feeling it’s a bit more fundamental than that 😉

The house on the corner is having a big golden cypress (?) felled this morning ... it is huge and takes up half their garden so I sort of understand, but the birds will miss it and so will we 😢
