I just saw @Obelixx on another thread, hope she's back here soon.
I tidied up the front garden, dug out the forget-me-nots and planted pink bedding begonias. It's quite a shady spot. Then I did some pruning and dead heading in the back garden and watered it.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
@Yviestevie I hope you enjoyed your cuddles, some things just can't wait and are worth the risk. As long as you've all been sensible I am sure you will all be absolutely fine.
My friend here has a lovely but very small garden, she has been in lockdown for weeks, not left the house and when we met (2 metres apart) the other day she was laughing about getting excited that a dandelion had sprung up overnight, and therefore she had something new to do in the garden. I am envious of her being in that position, I work all day in it and yet at the end of it I look around and all I can see is more jobs for tomorrow. A case of the grass is always greener I suppose.
Now I am going to post some 'before and after' pics on another thread.
Good evening to all.

Morning all. Why have I been awake since 4am?? grrr and why do oscillating sprinklers just give up and sit in one position? double ggggrrrrr Hope you've had a better night @Dovefromabove X
Good morning all 😊 ☕️ yes much better thanks @Hostafan1 😊 I woke just in time to hear the milkman crunching up the drive ... we’ve signed up for regular deliveries of milk, eggs etc ... today is the first day ... and the milk and orange juice comes in glass bottles 😀 This way we’ll be able to keep our shopping trips to a minimum ... hopefully once every 2-3 weeks ... it’ll help as OH starts back at work next Monday ... we should’ve been in Cornwall ... hey ho ... Come to think of it, by now we should be driving down the M11 heading for the best little B&B in the south west ... it’s OK @Hostafan1 ... you don’t have to get up early to have breakfast with us tomorrow morning 😉
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all/afties Pat if you're there Glad you're a bit better today @Dovefromabove. I thought of getting milk delivered, but I have two lackeys who can get it for me. I've been out, and not too many f*nnies out thankfully, and I'm all showered and ready. Not sure what I'm ready for, but.... The dark clouds here last night passed us by without dropping anything, bit too far inland for it, but it's cloudy and dark just now. I had to stay in the shed yesterday - far too hot for me. Glad you had a lovely day @chicky. Your dad must have been so pleased to see you properly. @Busy-Lizzie - Obelixx can read the posts, but it's not working well enough yet for her to easily post herself. She's had a terrible problem with the engineers etc
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
@Hostafan1, have another coffee, it will all be ok in the end.
@Dovefromabove - I have found a positive way to think about my postponed holiday to Corfu - the day I should have been going I was feeling very fed up about it all, then a week later it was the day I should have been coming home - I thought actually now I've not been, it isn't all over, I just know have another new going away date to look forward to - it's all kidology but it sort of helped.
