    Good morning @Hostafan1 and everyone 😊 ā˜•ļøĀ

Overcast here today and some rain possible later and tomorrow ... then it looks like a sunny week ... I think I’ll book the under gardener for a few jobs ... the ā€˜lawn’ needs edging and there’s some weeds up on the shady bank that need sorting and I can’t reach them unless I clamber up there ... and we all know I’m not allowed to clamber! 😱

Hope your neck is feeling ok today @Dovefromabove after the ā€œpricking out of the thousandsā€ marathon yesterday. Ā And glad you enjoyed Swan Lake @Hostafan1 - we did too šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ‘šŸ». Ā Hope the mammoth sleep set you up for a good day @Pat E šŸ˜€

Got some of the nettles that are creeping into a flower bed removed yesterday - today I need to tackle the source. Ā Gauntlets and long sleeves required 😵. Ā Also had a few perlagonium plugs arrived in the post that need potting up. Ā Never grown them before - can’t have them in my summer pots because the deer eat the flowers, and they don’t really suit my borders, but decided the new greenhouse might be a good place for a few.

Iā€˜m guessingĀ @Obelixx has probably used all Mr Obxx’s data by hotspotting in on his phone - hope we will see her back here again in a few days when the spare part for her broadband arrives šŸ¤žšŸ»

Morning all/afties Pat - hope you're cosy. At least you're getting some reading and sleeping - not bad really in the present situation!
Or maybe you're turning into a teenager again and becoming nocturnal.....
Nice again here - glad I got out first thing. Bit of frost, but no wind so it was lovely, apart from the family on bikes who seriously need some education about riding on the correct side of the road - especially at blind bends..... :/
I'd be happy to do some clambering for you @Dovefromabove - but...well...you know.... ;)
@chicky - you'll be a 'two collection' family soon. Pellies in the greenhouse, and your primula theatreĀ Ā  :D
Not sure what I'll do today. I have some daffs which need sorting, and some vine eyes and wire to go on the screen for the E.Violette in it's new home,Ā  but not much needs done.Ā
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Afternoon folks,Ā  I was hoping for a brighter day today.Ā  It's very dark even though no rain is forecast.Ā  I've mowed and edged the lawns and wanted to get on with more planting but feeling a bit lethargic.Ā  Had a lovely long chat on facetime with Secondborn.Ā Ā  Gabriel's hair makes him look like Boris's love child at the moment think his mums going to have a go a trimming it this afternoon.Ā  Also facetimed Merri who is always good for a laugh.Ā  They have been geocaching quite a bit during lockdown for exercise and she always seems to get to get in some sort of trouble.Ā  Yesterday's dilemma involved a very large patch of nettles.
Going to try and talk to mum this afternoon if the home has sorted out their ipads/tablets.

    Hello all.
Cooler and cloudy with sunny periods so far.
Had a long chat with daughter 1 then watched the Morning Service on TV, then it was Homes Under the Hammer so I watched that, but I wish it wasn't so repetitive.
I expect it will be a quiet day. I may wash the car this afternoon. We took it to the jet wash at Morrisons yesterday when we picked up our shopping but it didn't do a very good wash. Can't use the roller brush wash as it has a roof rack and the chap who sold it to us had lost the key.

Clematis "Innocent Blush" is coming out, huge double pink flowers. Last year was it's first flowering and it was almost white, only a few flowers. Lots of flowers this year.

I watched some of the Swan Lake that Hosta posted and I can see why he loved it but although the dancing was brilliant I have to admit I much prefer the traditional version. I've seen it at Covent Garden more than once.

@Busy-Lizzie. I saw the Boshoi do the "traditional" version and it too was stunning. I love MB's take on such a classic. We saw the same production in Plymouth a year or so ago. The view from the 5th row from the front was a delight.Ā

Haha, I am the first to post on here today, good morning folks.Ā  Its very grey, overcast, forcast says showers, so I am afraid the tumble dryer is going into service.Ā  I stayed up till 11.30, was difficult.Ā  I usually sleep 4 or 5 hours, but the previous couple of nights, I was really tired, and went to bed at 9, was then wide awake at 2.

    Good morning all 😊 ā˜•ļøĀ
When we went to bed the forecast said showers for today @Nanny Beach, but now they’ve disappeared from the forecast ... certainly we have a sunny morning right now.Ā
Think I might need to wave a duster around today ... just a little bit ...Ā
