Good morning Dove, good  afternoon Pat  :)
Its a beautiful sunny morning here. Dropped to a chilly 2 degrees last night but slept like a log finally after the drama!
Collecting the ironing this morning from my housekeeping job, taking it home and watching countless episodes of time team whilst I iron.
Two hours gardening for a customer after lunch. Then really must go to a shop and get some food for us and some cat food.
    Second coffee needed first!!!!

Morning NannyB. I’m feeling a little guilty about my total lack of exercise today, but I’ll make up for it tomorrow. 😃

    best wishes to all.

So you should Pat you should be ashamed haha.  I get papers for an elderly neighbour, in our road, but quarter of a mile away, just got back from said kids (disabled, dropping food, distancing, PPF mask, gloves, etc) he rang said I could I walk his big strong energetic Jack Russel, he had had a nasty fall.  Yesterday, when I delivered his paper, we took his dog to the local park with our 2, a great time was had by all!

Oh, by the way, you are all too late, I have already written the Archers for the next 12 months.  I used to listen all the time, it was my sit down at lunch time, havent listen for a couple of months and got completely out of the sotryline, who is bedding who, who had given birth, got run over, oh wait thats Eastenders (no, I dont watch it) I do like the radio, have taken up my knitting again in the afternoons, Hubby is here to do the gardening jobs that usually fall to me, I like scandi stuff with sub titles, but you have to be glued to the screen, radio and knitting, so much easier

    Morning all.
I'm so glad @WonkyWomble has found her gorgeous gemstone. She must have been feeling bereft without it.

Sun is shining. Time to load the washing machine.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

You’ve reminded me of my daughter NannyB. She has a 1 year old staffie, who she likes to take to the dog park so that the dog  can run around with her other dog friends. She isn’t allowed to do that any more, so Charlie girl has to make do with a little walk around the appartments.
Wonky, you deserve a medal for all you’re doing.

Morning all/afties Pat - no need for guilt. Hope the fingertips get a bit tougher soon.
Glad you found it @WonkyWomble - I wouldn't be taking it back to that jeweller though ;)
Another frost here  - lovely and fresh. Had a good walk apart from the usual idiots.  :/
I've confused the pigeon. I moved the bird feeder. They're not very bright are they?  :D
I sat on the bench yesterday for five minutes, and a little dunnock was having a lovely time bumbling around not far from me. Quite happy.
I think I'll have to rearrange all the daffs I put in the raised boxes last year. They clearly haven't read the rules about height, and when they flower. They've been lovely though, especially Lieke. Multi headed, beautiful little coronas, with a dark green centre showing off the anthers. I can highly recommend them.
I expect everyone here is aware, but I thought I'd mention - there are an awful lot of scam emails circulating, and, along with the usual ones wanting you to share their good fortune and millions of dollars,  the new dodge seems to be pretending they're sending you a receipt for an invoice which has been paid by BACS. There's now a site for forwarding them to :

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Hi Fairy. Sounds as though you’re keeping busy. 😃  I’ve been doing some jigsaws today and managed to find a couple of Liri’s which I hadn’t seen before. All good fun. 🙄

Hi folks,  Glad you are reunited with your gem stone @WonkyWomble
Managed to talk to mum today via Zoom, she has refused to talk to me the last two days but finally agreed.  We had a long chat and she gave me a list of things she needs so I can get them tomorrow and drop them off.  Gave the carers First and Secondborn's email addresses so they can set up zoom with them too.  Was pleased to see the carers had full face guards so their PPE must be OK.
Have potted on some echinacea, rudbeckia and achillea that I grew from seed.  They are too small to go into the garden so I will keep them in the greenhouse for a while.  Luckily the BBC website has amended it's weather temps for the weekend and they have gone up a bit so hopefully we should be OK re frost.
As I'm probably going to miss my week in Cornwall with my Bestie in June I decided to spend the money on a new table and chairs for the garden.  I've ordered a grey alluminium one to keep the maintenance down.  Our current wooden one is falling apart.
Just had a delivery of herbs so that will keep me busy this afternoon potting them up.
    Hope everyone is OK.
