Thanks @Lizzie27 for giving up your blood and time for research 💕 biobank would already have the facilities to process, it would just take time to set up the project. However COVID studies are all being fast tracked currently.
Can't sleep again, gave up and spent the last hour trying to get all the lists of things to be done and acquired onto a spreadsheet in some sort of order, just to get it all out of my head. I just seem to be one step forward, two steps behind at the moment.
The electrician seemed very nice, very efficient, knew what I was talking about, able to do the work starting next week, then sent in a quote and it's just a long list of electrical stuff he needs (and prices) no detail reflecting the discussion about what I want doing, no time frame (or labour price), all very vague and over 2000€. I did expect that, but a bit more clarity over what he is going to do for that, and therefore comeback if he doesn't, would have been nice. add to that he hasn't answered his phone once in 4 days so I can discuss it further with him. Off to get another quote from someone else now, although now they are allowed back to work they are all inundated with work....so it goes on....
The quote for the wood for the lower deck had the wrong calculations in it too, nice price, but not enough square meterage to cover the area. Now I have to go back to the mill to see if the price is right and the quantity is wrong or the quantity is wrong and therefore will be more expensive. It may well be a typing error, but probably not - I do get frustrated at having to chase everyone up over and over.
On a positive note my Blue For You rose is looking lovely and giving off a delicious fragrance (violet). Unbelievable amount of blooms, I had to cut it back a bit too, it was shooting off at a jaunty angle, so I have the smell in the house too and have tried to make some potpourri with the deadheads. I have 3 bushes altogether, 2 at CdeG and one here at the ex's house - it will forever be 'my' rose though.
So pleased to hear that @Obelixx is still with us, thank you @Fairygirl.
Good to hear you are not suffering quite so much @Dovefromabove.
I am also amused and glad to see it's not just me that acquires and hoards plant pots @chicky, although mine are not quite in such good order.
Like the sound of the table & chair set @Yviestevie, I am in the process of buying 10 tables and 24 chairs, aluminium seems to be the way to go. I'm not giving the customers the luxury of cushions but pink would be perfect if I was, it's my 'corporate colour', love it. All I need now is a deck to put them on and electric wired up so I can cook for them all without blowing a fuse -in all senses of the word.
Now I must stop prevaricating and get on with some book keeping, it's not like a lot of balancing them has to be done this month - all money going out - none coming in....
Have a good day all.

Oooh those are gorgeous @D0rdogne_Damsel 😊 good morning everyone ☕️ it’s good to hear @Obelixx is ok ... phew! 😊
On the subject of roses, we’re making plans for a couple down in the sunny/quiet corner now that the fence is done and OH has moved the shed and put in another bench so we can both sit there. We’re looking at R. Cornelia, (which is a rose I’ve always wanted) by the fence between the bench and the shed, and R. Baby Fauraux for the bed the other side of the pathway.
I shall order them from Peter Beales as bare roots this winter ... getting v excited 😜

Morning Dove. The rose and bench plans sound good. I’m also relieved to hear that Obelixx is still with us. I was beginning to worry that she’d come down with the dreaded virus. 😳
DD, I love the colour of your roses.
Had a trip to town for Hubby’s zolodex implant and a small bit of shopping then home to flop. I fancied some smoked cod, so searched Aldi without luck then into Coles where I managed to get some nice looking fillets. That tonight’s dinner sorted then. 😋
Once I sat down at home, I felt that I could go straight to sleep.😳. I’ve been jigsaw puzzling since I sat down.
Morning, I would have beaten you all, I was up at 4am with wicked acid reflux, went and sat upright for half hour, after the gaviscon stuff. Was still awake at 5.30, when Hubby got up, watching Game of Thrones, I watched 30 seconds once, that was enough thank you! Lovelly day, clear blue sky.
