    Popped in quickly to avoid a shower. Feeling a little emotional, and that was before I read about poor Nigel. I have been digging out a flowerbed so it can be turned into lawn as it is too much for my ex-partner to cope with - as I am sure most of you gardeners will understand we put our life and soul into gardening and this pulling stuff out rather than putting it in has been heart wrenching for me. I know it's for the best, I know I can't stay here after lockdown and look after it but nevertheless it was upsetting. Here are some 'After & Before' pictures as it were... The only good thing is I have managed to 'rescue a lot of the plants for my own garden and put a few in the one flowerbed he is keeping including my favourite Lilies. Ever onwards, everything happens for a reason.

    You will enjoy the re-located plants DD when they are in your own place and will be able to look after them better.

    Still no word from Obelixx? I do hope she's not ill, I know her internet was down but she wasn't feeling very well just before that, was she?

    Something rather surreal happened earlier. Moira had a phone call from a friend saying how sorry she was to hear that I had died. Moira was somewhat surprised as she had just seen me in the garden. Turned out she had heard about Nigel the dog and for some strange reason thought it was me. Why my death would make the news seemed to escape her.

    Glad to hear you are still with us @punkdoc , sad to hear about the other Nigel though.  I know he got on some people's nerves but I really enjoyed seeing him.

    @punkdoc ... @WonkyWomble  says “it’s an easy mistake to make, what with your golden BeeGee-style bouffant locks” ... think she’s having a Chef’s tipple 🍷 🤣
