Dunno @Hostafan1 - is it not Sundays?
I think he was busy with other things anyway. Was it not to do with the travelling to wherever it is now.
You can tell I don't really watch it can't you?  :D

Ooooooh love the idea of a diva strop, but I can't believe Monty would have anything to do with it.
How can you lie there and think of England

Morning all, Grey day here, haven't ventured out yet but it doesn't look very warm.
Well, my garden chairs have arrived but the table hasn't.  Have dropped them an email Starting to worry a bit that I've paid quite a bit for 6 chairs rather than a complete dining set.
Hubby has started giving guitar lessons via zoom so to get to the garden I'm going to have to go out the front door and round the back.  I'm off out in a sec to do battle with a load of Avens that has invaded one of the borders.  Problem being that I have some nice geums in the same area so I'm hoping I can tell the difference.
Glad the neck is a bit better @Dovefromabove

What a PITA @Yviestevie - both things. Do the chairs come from a different location from the table perhaps? Seems odd, but you know how odd things can be sometimes.
Is it worth waiting until you see flowers on the different plants? The troublesome avens are usually a bit coarser in my experience, with quite small flowers compared to the posh varieties, but it can be hard when they're all close together.  :/

@Fairygirl Have already cleared out the area and also removed a Molineux rose.  It wasn't doing well this year and to be honest it was a bit too yellow for me, removed a euphorbia for the same reason.  I now have a new planting opportunity.  :)
I've emailed the company about the table but not had a reply yet.
Just got back from an hours walk both Hubby and I have put on half a stone since the start of the lockdown and to be honest neither of us can afford to put weight on. It doesn't do my arthritis any good.
Just going to have a cuppa.

    Hello all!

Hubby's birthday today so he's decided what we'll do, and I've made the food... salmon for lunch, followed by strawberry pavlova.  Yum.  We did do a 6-mile walk this morning so perhaps we deserved it...

My wheelbarrow was delivered yesterday, and fortunately, although it was delayed, the dumpy bag of manure I need it for, is delayed even more.  I had visions of moving it bucket by bucket...  meanwhile the barrow has been washed down and is in quarantine for a few days.  Don't have to use it until the manure comes - the walk up the garden with buckets of weeds does me good.

Hope the sore neck carries on improving, Dove.  And fingers crossed your table turns up soon, Yvie...

Oh my goodness, I have just spent the last hour washing plant labels 🧽 🧼- I must have time on my hands.  Plus a delivery of plug plants were planted up almost the second they hit the doorstep .....I could get used to this 😀😀😀

Evening all, our internet's been down all day, OH has had to have a very long phone discussion with Plusnet technician who's managed to sort it and they are sending us a new router free of charge. Apparently our current two are now past it (!) bit like me.
