I typed that message two days ago, but got locked out. Anyway, we have very dark grey clouds all over this morning. Not sure if we will get a storm or nothing. Ā Probably go to town for something to do, besides our weekly Newspaper comes out today, so will collect that. Ā
Hope everyone is ok. Busy, good to hear from you.Ā

Hello @Pat E 😊 I probably shouldn’t have done that weeding yesterday ... my shoulder won’t let me get comfortable šŸ™„ I’ve just taken a couple of paracetamol and am having a warm drink ...Ā

    Morning all.Ā
It looks like we might be having some well earned heat today . Up early , agapanthus to move and water before a friend comes round ( the one whose grandmother died from Covid and both parents are recovering from hospitalisation ) for a socially distant walk round the garden.

Back from town, feeling aerated and relaxed.😁

Doesnt it drive you crazy Dove.i get frustrated that my back plays up after I’ve been wrestling the rotary hoist. Still we keep trying to do these things in the hope that this time it might be better. 😁😁😳

Good morning everyone.  @Dovefromabove I should have come and done that weeding for you - I did some weeding yesterday too digging and pulling up creeping weeds.  My hip was playing up last night.  Perhaps we should take it easy today and try and find a café open!!  Have a sunny day!

Morning all. Ā Hope you get the promised heat @Hostafan1, and that aches, troubles and grumpy men recede as the day progresses for the rest of you.

Today should be the day for my SM run, but after last weeks chaotic experience we found a click and collect slot instead.  So hopefully a quick task this week.  About to get out in the garden to do a bit of digging before it gets too hot 🄵

Good morning again all 😊 ā˜•ļø ... another 4+ hours of sound sleep šŸ‘ @tuikowhai34 I’ve left half the front border for you ... I’m doing nothing more strenuous than supervising the Undergardener for an hour and being in charge of refilling the ā˜•ļø ā˜•ļøĀ
I took some erysimum ā€˜Apricot Twist’ heeled a cuttings yesterday ... the plants thatĀ @WonkyWomble gave me have been flowering Ā their socks off and brightening the terrace ... today they’ll be deadheaded and given some tomato feed and planted in the front border to fill some gaps.Ā
I also took some sempervivum offsets and put them in some grit and compost in a piece of broken pot. Ā Oh, and I pricked out the verbascum. Ā  The tomatoes are desperate to be potted on ... I ought to do them today ... i s’pose I’d better get up ...Ā

I've watered all the terrace and topped up the pond. Noticed one or two Hostas did get touched by frost. . A lucky escape for the rest methinks.Ā
