What do you fancy for your birthday  @Yviestevie - apart from the obvious 'family' ones.
A chippy would suit me too - brilliant  :)
I'm laughing at the Glesgae wumman on Popmaster - 'a wee steam train'. Best answer of the year so far  :D

@Fairygirl I'd like Boris to tell us that it's OK to give our grandchildren a great big kiss and cuddle.  That would do me just fine.

Alternatively, you lot could all pop round and remove all the couch grass from my lawn :D

Cake would be wonderful folks. Moira has many talents, but baking is not one of them. The last cake she made, was so heavy, I thought she had discovered a new element, or had incorporated dark matter into it.
How can you lie there and think of England

Well @Yviestevie it’s just as well you don’t want the same present as @punkdoc ... thankfully we don’t have enough 😃
    Although by next Wednesday ...

I think I have enough eggs to do a cake or two. Fairylet can get some at work tomorrow. Maybe both fairylets  could get some if I have to do a few cakes.... ;)
I'll pass on the couch grass thanks @Yviestevie ;)
I think my sister will be hoping for the same option as your first one. I passed a house yesterday - nice and sunny, and there was a  lady [gran obviously] sitting on the path with her grand daughter two metres away showing her drawings etc. I had a lump in my throat, just watching and taking it in for a few seconds while I went by. I bet that lady would have given anything to just sweep that wee girl up in her arms.

You could always take up the shot putt then @punkdoc.... ;)

I had to laugh at how they measured them.
I wonder if it would persuade youngest fairylet to join me on a hill  if she thought they were made of chocolate :D
