I was turning over, adjusting my pillows, trying to get comfy ... and trying not to wake up properly @Hostafan1 😉

Hope you’ll have time to put your feet up after lunch maybe?

Feeling reflective today 🤔 💭 🙁.  I should have been going to Chelsea with my sisters, who I haven’t seen since Boxing Day (seeing them on a screen is nice, but not the same). I should, about now, be jumping on a packed train, followed by a bustling waterloo, and a busy tube to go and mix with thousands of people, elbow to elbow to gaze at the theatre that is Chelsea.  It is one of my favourite days of the year.  Two months ago, nothing would have seemed wrong with any of it.  Life is funny, isn’t it 🥴

    We were sleeping @Hostafan1 :D
Relatively undisturbed night for me after two which weren't - daughter was up at 4 two days running for work, and that always wakes me, even though she's very quiet.
Funny how different we are @chicky - you couldn't pay me enough to go to Chelsea. Packed trains and all those people. My idea of Hell  ;)
How is your Dad though? Is he doing well now?
Walk was pleasant - not so many folk out. Amazing how the 'dampness' keeps them in eh?  :D
I disturbed a pair of goldies in one of the hedges. One sat very quietly as I went past, and gave me a Robert de Niro 'are you talkin' to me?' sort of look. Wee things. They're charming indeed.
@tuikowhai34- hope the tads will be happy.
Filled up the feeders - all the little 'uns have demolished the sunflower hearts. They're all very busy out there.
Question. Is it wrong that I laughed out loud re The Donald?
    Polite answers only.... :D
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

@Fairygirl you know that, however bad the situation, I always look for a silver lining 🤣

    Good morning all, afternoon Pat
Been too busy to get a minute to get on here so only caught up a bit.   Hugs to you Pdoc x
    Got a date today!
Only at the local tip book by appointment, no vans or trailers, email confirmation, vehicle registration.... should  I expect flowers and wine? Should be fun!

Chicky I've never been but never miss the coverage of Chelsea.  I hate crowds so it would be hell for me but I can understand why you would be feeling that way, must be the loveliest of ways to catch up with your sisters.

I spent an hour and a half watering the garden by hand as my hose is broken last night so it should survive the expected heat today in my absence.

Take it easy today with that neck/ shoulder Dove  x
Hope everyone has a good day!

I shall @Dovefromabove - with pleasure!  I have just done some weeding in my garden - a first since last Thursday when I fell over and pinged my knee.  So embarrassing - at least it was at home!!  I am glad you all have those funny nights, as I do.  Some good, some tossing and turning, and freezing and burning as Cliff used to sing!!  Very windy here - as usual.
A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

Morning all, I was awake Hosta, just didnt realise you needed me.  I went to bed at 11.30, was awake hours, already awake when  I was blindingly bright (yes, I do have blackout blinds and eye masks before anyone asks) at 4, eventually went to sleep, and woke up at 8.45, having expected to go shopping at 7 am.  Old man up and watching Game of Thrones, (yuck)I know the sleep experts say, you should get up do something but no TV or screens, go back to bed when you feel tired, that doesnt work, after 25 years of night shifts, I just go into night shift mode, dont feel tired, dreadful in the morning though.

I know they say no screens, but , in @Dovefromabove's words, I "noodle" on here for a bit then go back to bed
