    @Yviestevie :D
    Someone asked my daughter what they'd got me for Mother's Day. 'A big ball of string' was her reply. She got a funny look....

    Some of you might remember that I ordered a new table and chairs for the garden a while back.  I got very excited when it was due to arrive only to find that they delivered the chairs but no table.  I have now waited patiently for about 3 weeks and finally they delivered the table today.  I've just unpacked it and IT'S THE WRONG B***DY COLOUR!!!!  Now I have to pack the table back up and find somewhere to store the damn thing until they come and collect it

    Well, that took me a while to read back. That’ll teach me to leave it for a day or so.
    You all sound cheerful, so that’s good.
    Happy birthday for Saturday Punkdoc. I hope you get what you want. 😳
     we’ve had misty drizzly moisture today, and very cold. My ears were freezing outside.
    So much for heavy rain on the prediction.

    Oh @Yviestevie ... I feel your pain ... ☕️ 🍪

    I won’t rub it in by telling you that the new sandals I ordered in Hotter’s Sale arrived and I love them ... they’re a perfect comfy fit and lovely leather.

    Good to see you @Pat E
    Glad we’re keeping you amused. 😆

    How very annoying @Yviestevie, hope you won't have to wait another 3 weeks.

    look on the bright side @Yviestevie, by the time you get the right table, everything may be back to normal and you may be able to invite people round to sit at it.

    They've said they will make it a priority and that I should get the new one at the start of next week.  We'll see.  I'm not worried, Hubby has just walked to the shop and bought the winning lottery ticket so a missing table is neither here nor there.

    What  PITA @Yviestevie
    You do realise it'll pee with rain for the next six months now....
    Car picked up -  no extras fortunately.
    If the rain stops, and the wind drops I might get something done outdoors. I have stuff to put on  the grass at the front. Not a lot apart from that though.

    @Dovefromabove I doubt you do feel my pain, well not the one I now have after dropping the table on my foot while repacking it.
