@D0rdogne_Damsel ... hope you can come up with a way thatāll work for the CdeG š° āļøĀ
The problem on the norfolk coast Ā over the past few days is that people have been heading for the isolated spots (of which we have quite a few) instead of the seaside towns which were sort of āpreparedā for them. The thing is that everyone is having the same idea, and isolated beaches donāt have adequate parking or other āfacilitiesā which is leading to crowding and ālitterā š¤¢ š

Morning all. I was woken by heavy rain at 3am but it didnāt last long. It must have made its way slowly up to Doveās while I went back to sleep.
Friends are coming this evening for a glass of wine in the garden.
@Dovefromabove are the snails you are sending to @punkdoc fresh from your garden? Ā A friend sent me some London Pride and Dicentra Formosa so Iāll plant them today, also a few plants that I bought yesterday in a little local GC.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Morning all.Ā Slept from 10 -7, Hurrah for that.Ā Snails? Oysters?? no thanks. why would anyone want to eat something with the texture of phlegm?Ā cue green emoji
Morning.Ā Umm... whereās my nice weather gone? Itās very breezy and not appealing for gardening or garden sitting.Ā Iām with you Hosta - no amount of garlic can distract from the texture of slimy creatures 𤢠Ā
Have a good day all. Shopping tomorrow, so if there is any flour I can make a cake for Punkdocās Birthday (keep expectations low, as no flour the last three weeks š).Ā
Weāve had to bring the toms squashes and runners back indoors cos the weāre getting bashed about in the wind ... thing is theyāre all in bigger pots now ....Ā

Morning all/afties Pat if you're popping in Walk done, showered, breakfasted, car delivered and new kettle collected. The most important piece of equipment hereĀ Ā My T shirt has also arrived. Could have done with it earlier when queuing with everyone. There's alwasy one who doesn't care about the guidance. The man behind me was peed off at him as well.Ā I can do you a small cake @punkdoc - and a cuppaĀ I think it would have been a rather miserable weekend for you at beautiful Gairloch, as @steephill says. It's to be rough for the next few days. Wet/windy overnight, and rain's back on here. I could send @Allotment BoyĀ some water, but the wind might blow it in the wrong directionĀ @Dovefromabove - you would wonder if that cyclist will change his habits, but sadly - there are some who just carry on regardless, as my earlier comment suggests. I hope he's suitably grateful.Ā Ā With you on the snails/oysters @Hostafan1. Could we ask for theĀ green boak emoji back do you think?Ā I'm allergic anyway - mussels etc, so it's not an issue. I'd rather rip my liver out with a rusty hook...Ā
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Morning all, agree about the oysters and snails just the thought of putting one in my mouth makes me retch Ā Had to pop to GP's to put prescription request through letterbox as they don't accept them over the phone, even in lockdown apparently.Ā It's quite cloudy and windy here, I'm planning to dig out a load of snow in summer as it's taking over and I want to plant something that's better behaved.Ā
Now, I don't want you all giving the best presents to @punkdoc and leaving me with the dregs next Wednesday I've asked Hubby to take me out for a nice meal at a fancy restaurant.Ā He said he's prepared to queue at the local chippy.
