Yviestvie, didnt realise you are only a year old, your typing is very good then.Ā  Sleep tight, HUH, after 2 nights of sleeping about an hour, went to bed sometime between 9 and 10 last night, old man watching back to back Game of Thrones, read till I was nodding off, put my light out, his still on so he can see to get into bed, when hes working, hes in bed by 9, I creep in very quietly with my hand over the light beam on the torch, he came busting in after 12, I was sound asleep, woke up with a start, feeling dreadful, banging headache, hes instantly snoring, me wide awake, so went and watched 3 episodes of Nicki Chapman and Cheslea, not Chelsea, then went to bed its getting light soon after, then I eventually went to sleep, just got up at 8, feeling like I have been drugged, phone rang, elderly neighbour I shop for,Ā  all perky, who NEVER surfaces before 9.

Oh dear, @Yviestevie that must have been the last straw, hope your foot is OK.

I planted a Veronicastrum, 2 Michaelmas daisies, Dicentra Formosa, London Pride, Veronica Spicata, ErodiumĀ 'Bishop's Form', an Osteospermum and 10 dark blue Lobelia into various beds today.

A couple of friends came for a drink in the garden early this evening, lovely to see them, kept our distance. Was a bit chilly but we have to be outside. Then we had supper, watched Chelsea and Gardeners World.

I'm punch drunk with watching 3 hours of TV gardening today. My excuse was it's been far too windy to do much outside, apart from a quick bit of seed sowing and hose pipe watering.

Really odd ... the left shoulder and left side of neck haven’t hurt today ... however the formerly perfectly fine right side of my neck has been agony causing several yelps much to poor OHs consternation. I can hardly move my head.Ā

Today OH did watering and weeded the herb garden and front bed and planted three Erysimum Apricot Twist in the bed with a Rosa glauca and a Hosta Hadspens Blue 😊

Loved the Chelsea prog and GW ... now I’m under the duvet and hoping for an overnight cure for this neck ... it’s getting tedious. šŸ™„Ā

    sleep tight all 😓

Time for a doctors appointment methinks @Dovefromabove....hope you get some sleep.

No gardening here today - too windy. Ā But the Hoover came out and the ironing pile is no more. Ā Hoping tomorrow will be more exciting.

On the plus side, littlest chicklet took control of the kitchen this evening and produced a Jamaican feast - jerk chicken, flat breads and yummy rice and beans šŸ˜‹šŸ˜‹šŸ˜‹

    Good morning all 😊 ā˜•ļøĀ
Think the pain yesterday was because it was actually ā€˜getting better’ @chicky ... I’d been doing Ā some new stretching exercises that felt better than my usual ones, and they seem to be ā€˜unlocking’ things ... as I suspected might happen, I’ve woken with much more movement in my neck ... the first part of the night was uncomfortable but once I managed to stop rolling onto my side and got to sleep on my back with an almost flat pillow, I slept well and as I said ... a much better morning.Ā

The wind has dropped thank goodness ... maybe the runner bean plants can go back outside today šŸ¤žĀ

Morning all/afties Pat if you're there.
Bit rough here so I may not get out for a walk today. I'd need a belay and a rope to tether me.
I presume fairylet got to work safely. I haven't had a phone call.
Not sure what I'll do today, although I do have some indoor jobs than can be done.Ā
Hope the neck is on the mend then @Dovefromabove. I'm still having trouble with my leg. That kept me awake last night, along with the rain battering the windows.
On the plus side, I saw most of the Stevie Wonder thing that was on in the middle of the night followed by a duet thingy on BBC4.Ā  Oscar Peterson and Andrew Preview - what a delight they were together, and individually.
