Morning all! Michael, I'm impressed... my hubby and i put up or greenhouse and it's the closest we have come to divorce in 22 years!!! Lock down birthday was lovely. I had great weather a garden a few drinks and 2 cakes!!! Delivering shopping to elderly couple this morning then back home into the garden! Will read back later. I hope everyone enjoyed the sun this weekend. Whilst staying home. Have a lovely day folks.
Welcome @michael.waring You'll find lots of help on all the threads here, and a bit of chit chat on this one Can I just clarify - I wasn't 'dissing' Madge's speech. I do agree about making a statement to the nation - absolutely. I just found that 'we'll meet again' line hilarious, and I couldn't help singing 'don't know where, don't know when' after she said it!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
@GWRS - I've just realised I haven't replied to your PM. Sorry. It was very kind of you to offer me the info I think I've just realised why I had a fit of the giggles seeing bits of Madge's speech. I just keep seeing Stanley Baxter....

Halloo there from Australia. This site was advertised on the "Seniors Card" site here and as I have made a decision to use the"virus" as an excuse to engage in social media (in a discriminating way, of course), here I am. Not sure if you have many members from southern climes, but perhaps I can contribute to others interest, knowledge/understanding of gardening in Australia. Cheers
We have a regular poster from Australia ( @Pat E ), so you will be in good company. We spent all of February in your beautiful country, and have just had to rescue our student daughter from Sydney, so I am doubly interested in all things Aus atm .....which bit of the continent are you from?

I have a pulled a neck muscle this morning - very inconvenient as had lawn-edging planned.
Keep safe folks.
We’ve just had a smattering of rain on the window ... hope that’s not all we’re getting. An hour of soft spring rain would be ideal 🌧 🌱 🌱 🌱
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
