You need to speak to the hedgehogs sternly Wonky. They are not practicing social distancing!

I picked a few flower and leaves today and they look very pretty in a little vase.

I couldn't believe the noise they made Dove! I felt guilty for interrupting but I thought there was a problem! I emailed 2 pictures to you Dove. They were to large to post.Ā
Pat, your not wrong! They was definitely not 2 meters between them!!Ā
    Those flowers look lovelyĀ  :)

    Morning all

Hopefully you will be hearing the patter of little Hedgehog feet soon (but not too loudly 🤣🤣) @WonkyWomble

The flower arrangement looks lovely @Pat E

When I was at school, I wanted to be an MP. It was when the House of Commons was first televised on BBC2 on an afternoon. I used to tape it when I was at school and watch it when I got in. It really inspired me. My ideas were slashed by the school careers advisor during my careers 1 to 1.Ā  He told me that it was not a realistic job idea and I should think of something else as it would be totally unachievable. I left with all my ideas slashed and never really knew what to do after that. I know these days that would never be allowed to be said to a pupil. There would be consequences if they did.Ā  I never really got over that.Ā

Have a good day all 😁

Morning all. The sun is out, but don't think it will last.

I loved reading about your hedgehogs, @WonkyWomble, I hope there will be babies. Neighbour has told me she's seen 5 hedgehogs in her garden. She feeds them and her OH, a retired carpenter, has made hedgehog houses. Now I now why I've seen droppings in our garden and hardly any slugs and snails. The hostas have been untouched!

That’s terrible PurpleRose. As you say it wouldn’t be allowed nowadays I think, but I’m sorry it affected you. Ā I hope you round something else to satisfy you wishes.

    Morning all/afties Pat
Well - I wish them good fortune for their baby. My sister didn't have the luxury of seeing her oldest child reach her first birthday. She would have been forty today, and her mum can't even go to the cemetery to lay flowers.
If we want to hurl abuse at Boris, better look back in history at a few others . Churchill for a start.
That's all I'm saying here today.

    I have no problem with them having a baby Ā ... I have a problem with hypocrisy.Ā

@PurpleRose ... I had a similar experience ... I think quite a few girls did ... I was told that I couldn’t be an architect because I was a girl ... our school library had a shelf of books labelled ā€˜Careers for Girls’ ... this was in an all girls school. Ā ... suitable careers for girls were mainly teacher, nurse, secretary, missionary, Ā (yes, honestly!) and florist. This was in the Swinging Sixties!!!

    Morning all.
Really struggling to muster energy this morning - maybe I’ll walk round the garden in the rain just to wake me up a bit.

Must be a tough day for you @Fairygirl so I hope you can find something to occupy your mind. I hope there will be a day, not too far away, where the flowers can be laid.Ā

Take care all. I see the weather next week looks better - hurray.Ā
My garden and I live in South Wales.Ā
