Morning all. Thank you, @Fairygirl I often cut my hair. I have wardrobe doors with mirrors so I can see the back. Shortish, with layers. I hope Dove has some hair left when her OH has finished!
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Busy couple of days in the garden, weeding veggie patch with Charlie and planting carrot and rocket seeds. He is very happy with it and for now it is good for filling time and being distracted. weather not so good but still able to get out all day.
Done a big SM shop this morning, it was quite busy, but everyone being respectful, a lot of people with masks on and the staff all have plastic face visor things on. Eerie feel to it all. I made an effort to smile at people, I had noticed myself looking away and trying to avoid contact the first couple of times I went out, sort of trying to discourage any contact, but actually a smile and a bit of 'distant' eye contact made me feel a bit more human again and a smile in return was nice. More often than not complete strangers say bonjour to each other if we pass in the street so it is all very strange this distancing thing. Hopefully as we get used to it we will all start say it again.
I've hacked at my fringe and trimmed Charlie with an electric shavery thingy, I think it looks fine, he said a bit short, but yes, it'll grow again.
Best wishes to everyone suffering pain and loss, such a tricky time for everyone at the moment.
I think I might paint the Tearoom kitchen this week, it'll keep me busy emptying it and sorting it all out, and I'll feel like I am doing something useful whilst it rains.

Well ... here I am ... what do you think? 🧑🏻🦳 I’m quite pleased. I’ve had worse haircuts that I’ve had to pay for! (Not at my current place i hasten to add!)
When I go out for a walk here I find that people are smiling and saying good morning etc as we each take a wide berth around each other. It’s as if they feel safe to say hi now that they know theyre not going to get drawn into a long conversation. 😂

Good day all. Just topping up on Vitamin D and fresh air. My OH cut my hair the other week, to make it easier to wash and tame after work. We’ve had loads of toiletries donated for our shower room at work - it’s fun trying different shampoos etc - had orange and grapefruit yesterday 😅
@Pat E - that pattern looks the same for the knitted people. They are so cute.
Have a good day all. Hope the worries and hard times improve for those concerned.
Aternoon folks, Feeling quite chuffed as relatively pain free. Only side effect so far was a good nights sleep but I know it's early days so not counting chickens yet. Hubby has been up on the scaffolding power washing the conservatory roof and just managed to get it finished before the scaffolders came to dismantle it. He had painted the lintels and window ledges last night so the back of the house is looking much smarter.
I have done a bit of gardening moved a rodgersia and a myrtle and planted two roses even though the advice was to leave them in the pots for a couple of weeks. My soil is really good and I gave them some FBB and lots of water so I think they will be OK.
It's really warm here as the wind has dropped to a gentle beeze.
As far as my hair is concerned I'm just letting it grow, don't have a fringe just a few layers and I can put it up if it looks a mess. Hubby's hair is a different kettle of fish altogether. It's grey and wiry and sort of grows out like a mad professor if he doesn't keep it short. He wont let me cut it so it's going to look amazing by the end of lock down.
Hope you enjoy your day everyone whatever you are up to.
It's been sunny but is clouding over again. Nice and still so I may go and spray where my new bed will be.
My annual haircut is due in December and I do my fringe in between. What is a pain at the mo is a growth spurt in the wispy bits around my face and they tickle. Too short to go in the ponytail so I have to spray them into submission so I don't keep touching my face when I go out for the weekly shop.
OH's hair is even thicker and dead straight with no way to hide a bad cut so I'm confining myself trimming his bits at the front that flop over his brow - not a fringe when properly cut - and the nape of his neck and round his ears.
I agree with @Fairygirl about knitted dolls being spooky but the gesture is to be treasured, as are the work and care that prompted it.
Glad the meds are helping @Yviestevie. Painful hands are bad enough but even worse for crafty and gardening type.
Greetings to all Forkers. How's Chicklet doing @chicky? HUgs to all with extra worries just now.

Sorry - Chicklet still in hospital- something not right with her blood count. Having a CT scan this afternoon and maybe have to operate again. Feeling pretty stressed so have not been posting - but know you are all behind us 🙏🏻

I thought there was a by law which forbade any form or pleasantry with strangers in London.
