Evening all. Off today so just awaiting some roast root veg and chicken for a hearty supper rather than my usual toastie or toast-based meal.

Managed a couple of hours in the garden this afternoon. Potted-up some peas and beans for my work friends.

Sory to hear about hard times and ailments. I have heard that dental care is non-existent so often GPs are just prescribing antibiotics for very painful mouths at the moment.

Your plant looks like a willow herb or similar ‘weed’ @D0rdogne_Damsel
I have actually let a small flower bed, which I normally clear and put some annuals in,  go wild this year. There are some small Alliums (perennial to that area), self-seeded Nigella, and some ‘weeds’ like willow herb and Spanish bluebells. I’ll let it be for now and maybe clear and add a few things later in the year.
My garden and I live in South Wales.

Hope all those not well are better soon , just found out a Niece who is a Paramedic has been very ill but now on the mend I’m pleased to say

    Stay safe everybody
  • Thank you @AuntyRach. Now I've found another flower, a bulb actually, I've had to move them and this one didn't make it, does anyone know what it is? It was in a big clump:

Looks like they were trying to cover up the fact that baby was conceived while he was still married to someone else ... being a hypocrite again ... why not just be open about it 🙄
I have a feeling that one day some "Mrs Johnson", just like "Mrs Williams", will discover her "husband" had many "wives" and many children...

He's yet to disclose exactly how many "single mothers" he's left littered about the place or how many kids he's sired.

And yet the Great British Public finds nothing irresponsible, immoral or reprehensible  in that.....

You'd be surprised how many are like that themselves @Sam 37.   Probably less surprised at how many go on their mood at the time rather than do any decent thinking or research about what their vote is likely to get them.

Given how fickle and unstable and immoral many "leaders" are these days I'm not sure his siring record makes much difference to whether he can run a country or a government.  I'd be more concerned to know he's supporting them all properly and not relying on the tax and benefit handouts to fund them.

Hi folks, miserable day here, it's rained all day and I can't seem to settle to do anything. It's supposed to thunder tomorrow but friday looks a better day.  I hope so I want to get outside and occupy myself with some gardening.  I have lots of crafty things I could be doing but can't seem to motivate myself.
@Nanny Beach I hope your daughter is OK and gets well soon.
Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands
  • Well done & thank you @Hostafan1, absolutely 'nailed it'. Goodnight all. 😘😘😘
