I don't know @star gaze lily. I saw it on the BBC news this morning, so it would possibly be on their website  :)

I hope oldest fairylet is OK.

Well, that's an end to people gathering. We are now forbidden to go out, apart from necessities, medical reasons and one exercise session alone.

I have made 1 cushion, been for a walk, chatted on the phone, done some ironing and cooked dinner. I think I'm glad I'm not young or a young parent at the moment.

Hope oldest fairylet will be ok.

NDN [ many of you will know, we don't get on ], just decided to come round to ask whether I could use my influence to get him a GP appointment?
Moira said i dealt with it remarkably calmly!

That's a worry.   Fingers crossed it's just a cold and not the Covid thing @Fairygirl .

Pillock to the core then your NDN @punkdoc?

We are staying in for the rest of the week and testing our store cupboard survival plans. Some of them are a bit old, but dry stuff and canned stuff should be ok. We really enjoyed our mackerel potato cakes last night. 😜

I’ve been thinking about the best way to utilise my store cupboard.

With a packet of fresh minced meat, you can always pad it out with lentils or similar, and that way you have enough leftovers for tomorrow night. This works for stew as well as meat balls and meat loaf etc. of course, you can always add fresh or dried herbs for extra flavour. 😃

I’m sure other Forkers will have more suggestions as well.  More excuses to stay in.

One of the Ukeladies has made a fruit and nut loaf with her supplies. Yum!
