Like your style @Hostafan1 I've gone for extra fruit hot cross buns.
I'm for extra fruity as well. Great comfort drink - the Norfolk Nog from a whisky distillery in South Norfolk, rich and creamy like Baileys but more whisky and more expensive. OH bought me a botttle.
Dull and overcast here with rain forecast ... think it may be a baking rather than a gardening day.
OH’s hours have been cut and we’ve cancelled our holiday, so the garden will be getting a fair bit of attention this year ... we spent a fair bit of time out there yesterday and OH got the veg patch weeded and forked/raked over. It looks much better.
The sunny corner is still a mess where the fence blew down ... the fencing man hopes to be here at the beginning of April ... then we’ll be able to sort that area out properly and replant the Betty Corning clematis that was uprooted in the mayhem following the storm.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all. Hello @Dovefromabove Same weather here, but I think we are only half an hour away. Think I may paint the guest bedroom so may pop out for paint before we are as housebound as France.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Morning folks. Lovely sunny day here. We went to Aldi and Coles for a little shopping and couldn’t believe the various empty shelves. Potatoes, onions, loo rolls, paper towels, hand wash, eggs, etc. it almost makes you laugh that people have been so stupid.
Anyway, time for evening Tele, so will catch up later.
Good morning. Getting sunny after a very misty start. Bedroom wall painting for me this am then garden if its stays bright. Lots going on out there now and lots to do.
OH had a chat with the neighbour yesterday - senior gendarme who also has to have his certificate with him when he leaves for work and moaning about the lack of logic to all this. It seems Parisians with second homes were given time to get out, thus spreading any virus they may have but neighbour also wonders why they don't let the "healthy" groups circulate, catch it, get well and be immune which would not shut down the economy so badly.
Hope you enjoyed you chocolate orange @Busy-Lizzie. I used to like Terry's All Gold with the hard centres but don't like English choc at all any more. Glad you've got the horses sorted.
Stay well everyone.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

I've heard from a Dutch friend who is in The Gambia. Food shortages and all neighbouring countries have closed their borders. Food being shipped in from Morocco and the price of rice has doubled. Sounds like it's just as well we're NOT there too right now.
Morning all/afties Pat Just stay home and look after yourselves @Hostafan1. Best solution. I think lots of people are doing similar. Always plenty of chores to be done eh? They were talking about the forms on the news earlier @Obelixx. I don't think the 'chicken pox party' method is the way forward though, from what I understand anyway.
Not in a very good mood after yesterday's episode at my daughter's work. Some b**** decided it was her fault that she wasn't Paul Daniels and therefore couldn't make pizza toppings magically appear. Nice young chap in the queue reassured her, went for help, and another lady [who had a young child with her] also assisted, and cow was chucked out of shop. They have a 'two strikes and you're banned' policy. Her managers are very good with her, as she's not always very well. She had a panic attack and will probably stay in bed all day and eat nothing. Aren't humans delightful?
It's grey and dull here, but at least the rain has stopped for now,and wind has died down.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
That is awful @Fairgirl. Big virtual Obxx hugs for Fairylet.
I shall have to go shopping tomorrow as we're short on a few essentials. Our supermarket is 20km away using the normal route but that's blocked after recent flooding damaged a bridge over the lay so a long diversion is in force. I expect a road check or two.

Big hugs for Fairylet - that is completely unacceptable. Stress brings out the worst in some people (but also the best in others).
We are all feeling this to some degree or another .....so let’s be kind 😇
My latest project is struggling to get littlest chicklet home .....if she doesn’t make a move soon there will not be planes left flying to transport her 🙄

I hope your paracetamol cut is healing @Dovefromabove
Now the horses have carers I'm feeling quite happy here, especially after Norfolk Nog and some Chocolate Orange in front of "Liar".
Im snuggling down now so night night all ... sweet dreams.
